ParticipantRoux-Full Agility courses. So I pulled a muscle and can’t run very well. She struggled in first two dog walks so I adjusted the jump to make the approach better for her.

ParticipantOk, I will work on trying to get her to at least eye flick. Right now she just stares at me and waits for her release.
4 corner sequences: Fun! I was pleased with how she did the biggest mistake is her thinking jump 1 is a backside a few times.

ParticipantI have a question. What is your opinion on a tunnel bypass command? I do have one with Roux, but I am considering changing to just left and right tunnel. I find the bypass sometimes confusing and the left and right tunnel just more plain and easy for both me and her. What is your opinion?

ParticipantSequences part 1- also working on leaving toy outside and entering on leash.
Michele
ParticipantPracticed with Roux while my daughter ran my other dog so that is challenging for her.

ParticipantDid pattern games in various places at Obedience trial today ( but they are quiet and boring) she had no issues and ignored all dogs. Did tricks and pattern again and she was good. I don’t know a chill for her. I can pet her but if I want her to chill I have to down her and then pet her since I get worried with lots of dogs around. What else should I try for chill?

ParticipantSome more exit line work and sequence.

ParticipantSo the “bitch” comment she is super arroused but can also lunge at dogs if they get too close. I have been doing tricked with her (pattern games) since she was 4 months old so she is quite good with that. I almost think I will do drills then do a mini snuggle (food brings her brain down) and then put toy and food in a container on food table outside of ring and with two to three dogs ahead try to do chill by rubbing her chest and having her come up on me. So far once in ring she seems good as is able to work doesn’t think about other dogs etc. We have an obedience trial Friday here and I’m bringing her in just to see how it goes but yes areas at agility are always very tight.
