    Hi Tracy,

We are back from a short vacation last week and playing catch-up a bit. A shirt video on the diamond. We also did the the second half but it was on Karena’s phone. I will add it later, this is only the blind cross part.

Hi Tracy, we are in Spain this week and so won’t be able to attend the live class. Looking forward to catching up next week. We did 2 games in this last session. We were able to move up to 4 wings in the zig zag game :).

    Hi Tracy,

Thanks for the feedback. Good to know how far from the bar you thought looked the best for him! The second bar was at 10 inches for this session and the first bar at 4 inches.

We will work on extending the differences and maintaining a walking pace and see how that looks. For the verbals, he was surprisingly good in that session. I would LOVE to have him know the difference between coming in gentle and hot. At the moment, both are hot, lol! Something to work on!

    Hi Tracey,

We ran outside after class to try some of the drills for the week. More work to do on the verbals but pleased overall with his effort.

    Hi Tracy,

We are paying more attention to his elevator butt. We don’t want that start line to fall apart! Here is a short one with some set point sessions pasted together and our first working session with some reward verbals.

Tonight we were able to start the new lesson for week 2, tunnel exit turns, baby level. There are some bloopers here and definitely some times when our verbals were late. It’s hard to get them out quickly sometimes! He looks so fast at 1:15 :).

    Hi Tracy!

We were thinking the same thing regarding the MM. Here is this mornings session with a toy!

Great observations there. He is much better at turning right definitely! We thought it might be that we have inadvertently put more work on dig, dig, dig than choo, choo, choo. We will also start paying attention to making contact with him coming out of the tunnel.
I was concentrating on the next move and didn’t connect frequently enough.

    Hi Tracy,

1st session of jump set work. I had to move the two jumps closer and closer to get the one stride. Let me know what you think!
I added a second session this morning using a toy instead of the MM. more enthusiasm from him with the toy!

    Hi Tracy,

We put a little bit more work into the wrap verbals and the smiley face game. We are keeping the wings a bit far away from the tunnel at this point. He was failing a bit when we moved them closer. We will continue to work on it!

Hello Tracy. Thanks for the feedback, we’ll incorporate that into the next session of that game and Mike can try it.

Today we did the “proofing wraps” game. I guess I must be afraid of the wing because I am really far away compared to what you were doing in the demo video. Mike is a bit more appropriately distanced. We started with the wing a further distance away and will more it closer to the tunnel over the next few sessions. We used the frisbee for the first time to reward and that brought up his enthusiasm (he LOVES “fisbee”- he can’t say Rs, LOL) but it also put more focus on us compared to using the tug. We did switch it up and used the tug too. He seemed to not need the body cues/arm gestures and was fine on Mike’s verbal-only reps. As we move in closer, that might change :). Karena

Hi Tracy, Tonight I ran out to work on the wind in my hair drill without videoing and then I decided to actually video since it turned into a real session! So I don’t have any of the reps where I was moving slowly and closer to the wing to start. In the video I mix up the distance of how far I am from the wing and also how much speed that I have. I tried to get him run to catch up with me or drive ahead of me. I also did one rep on each side with the toy on the ground.
Was I starting way too far from the wing in some of these reps? It didn’t feel that far when I was out there LOL. I also could’ve made better eye contact with him when he went around the wing in some of the reps. Karena

    Hi Tracy,

1st session with the lateral lead out. We only agreed on the tug command after my session. It will be consistent from here on out I hope. I edited out a bit of the party at the beginning of the drill, but we are doing it!

We went out to try the first step of week 12’s countermotion on serp exits drill :). Karena didn’t use a lot of motion and tomorrow I will pick up where she left off.

Next up- we will use more verbals and “tug” to indicate toy in hand marker. We are introducing some new verbal markers so it’ll take some time to get them all straight. For example, our first BC has the same word for wrap to the left and wrap to the right.
