ParticipantI have a couple of days work in this video. We start out each practice with a run at the teeter & a big treat. I lowered the tip assist a little tonight. Then we moved on to other things.

ParticipantHow’s this for the paw touch work? I remembered I picked up an extra piece of that rubberized material used for DW & platform boxes from one of the vendors at the NAC. They had remnants they were giving away.

ParticipantHere’s tonight’s work. I tried to get the toy delivered early on the wrap work. He got better as the reps went on.

ParticipantMore Wingin it work.

ParticipantI worked Indy this morning on the teeter. I left in all the times he ran up the board without me. I think that’s showing confidence? I lowered the bar a little during the session.
Then we worked on the blinds to wraps. He did good but I seem to be getting confused. Anyway it was taking me a while to figure I out the footwork & he was getting bored.

ParticipantTrying to do less movement since it’s so hot outside. The tandem turn work fits the bill. I think it’s a little better. These seem to be threadles to me but maybe I’m doing them wrong.

ParticipantWe worked the 3 wingladder this morning. I tried to remember to not step back. We also worked the tandem turns f more on the teeter. He seems to be slowing down. Is that just a confidence issue that will get better as he grows?

ParticipantOh my gosh. When I actually watched the video I was thinking “what the heck am I doing with my arm”???

ParticipantWent back out this morning & started with the blind move. I struggled at first but I think we got it. We did some teeter work after that. I thought the end of the board was stable but it dropped all the way to the ground Indy kinda tumbled off. I left in a lot of the video after that which I would normally have cut out so you could see how he responded. He likes cream cheese! I was putting his kibble on it but he was mainly licking the cream cheese off the plate rather than eating his food.

ParticipantWe started out with the racetrack tonight & then moved to the tunnel with 1 wing. We didn’t get the blind cross done. Will start with that tomorrow morning. As much as I like summer the heat hampers our practice time.

ParticipantBack from a work conference in Chicago. If I had known you were going to be there teaching a seminar this past weekend before I bought the ticket for my flight, I would have changed plans & flown up earlier! Anyway, here is Indy’s beginning work on the Wingin’ It games.

ParticipantWe went back out tonight to try to implement your suggestions from yesterday’s work. I felt we had some good reps & bad reps in every exercise!
On the teeter I think he’s defaulting to the behavior for the dogwalk which is 2o2o.
On the driving ahead he did a couple of real nice ones at the farthest distance & then started coming in instead of going over. I’m not sure what happened there.
