Ok todays the last day. I just wanted to say thanks and I hope to finish up tomorrow before leaving town 🙏🤞

I’ve done the games to where she did them correctly. I didn’t really have a lot of time to keep doing them or work on verbals. I figure when I’m in the working spot, we can find the holes and hopefully I haven’t done too much wrong 😂😂

I’m really looking forward to next class and getting feedback. Unfortunately my training area is getting smaller as I’m storing bathroom remodeling stuff that starts Monday 🤦‍♀️ But I’m working less…..

Ok just have to say, I’m very impressed with Tali. I did the minny/pinny and I’ve got the wing pushed out and the 2 out a little (narrow basement) and you can see her head push out to go around. I think she knows she needs to be a fast learner lol

I’m back… And I’ve got a day off 😃 I started the 1st game on zoom and was trying with a toy and I do have her tugging and playing 😃 She’s so into the toy, she doesn’t want to do the barrel. That’s a good thing, she wants the toy so much. So I’m just standing very close to the barrel and getting that 1st. Just so excited, she’s really tugging. It does put another level of training to get them to focus on the job versus the toy.

It’s so what I needed 😀 she did really good at the reinforcement game and will definately keep at it. I’m using a little lunch box, just to remind me to keep at it. The marker words are needed and it will help. My friend uses a cooler jackpot, which really helped them. I’m getting such great foundations, hopefully she’ll be a a confident dog, who will run a course with knowing the reinforcement is waiting for her. I got my treat and train yesterday, so I’m going to follow your instructions. And lots a little training sessions off and on today to catch up a little

Yah! 5 game weeks over 8 weeks and I’m reducing hours in March. Very excited to be able to have a working spot. Is it unlimited? Can wait till next month to sign up?

Thanks! I did do some single barrels and rewards last night. She did you great. Thanks for the be reminder to break it down more. And she went to the prop great as a warm up. 14 hour today, but off tomorrow 😀 my treat n train is coming, which will be helpful. I was trying to send to garage this morning (they’re coming with us) and she was trying to get a treat from my empty hand 🤦

I’m using a treat pouch on my waist since I know I can’t have treats in my hands. She’s really focused on me. I was trying to mostly throw treats so it’s not in my hand but you had said to treat from hand. I’ll throw for this one now. She’s done so well with everything as I’m having to do the fast course, I was getting spoiled. I’ll spend some time on this. Thank goodness most things she’s doing the 1st try.

She does turn and burn fine, since it’s chasing me.

She hasn’t seen the prop in awhile so good to know. I’ll work it some before I try the game.

Ok regarding rocking horse..I swear I using my big arms pointing to get her to go around when she won’t go 🤦 She does the 1st figure 8 and then won’t go around again or tries to touch the barrel with her paw. I think without the treat after the 1st figure 8, she doesn’t think she should go on. I must want something else, like paw Target the barrel since I didn’t treat her. I really had trouble with them wider, so I’m going to put them closer. She wasn’t sending. This was also our 1st time trying. She’s very food motivated and a thinker like her Daddy Finn. She does the same panting thing. I definitely don’t want her overthinking and slowing down like Finn. I’ve dealt with wild dogs, never a good girl, who wants to please or modivation. She’s so fast and I don’t want to screw it up. I definitely will have a working spot next class. I reduce my hours in March 😀 I’m almost there

She’s doing the serp great. The counter motion took her a few tries but then she got it. I think the get out, she’ll have trouble, but I really want distance with her. I couldn’t with my Velcro Vizsla. Unfortunately, I’ve got 2 long days ahead so I can’t try your suggestions till Wednesday, when I hopefully have time 🤞 oh and I’m doing short sessions.

Ok I figured it would be basic but I’ll need something. I know I’ll use it with the other dogs, so figured I’ll a real one. FYI crazy PVC prices now 😳 I’m just buying something. Still cheaper to make a PVC box. Just trying to get what I think I’ll need ahead. I think I’ll have what’s needed for the rest of the courses I’ll be taking. Nothing is quick anymore.

Also back to cavelletis-I’ve seen putting jump bars slanted in fencing, that I could do. Trying to see if I can make do with what I have already.
