Thanks for the seminars, they were lots of fun and can’t wait for more. I was working on lead out game last night, not videoing, but she’s kept going around the 1st jump, when I lead out the 2 jumps. For the serp, I know I was in front of her more, but I guess I was still on her line. When I do the jump grids..I need to..but I believe I’m usually facing forward like you said she liked, so probably why I don’t have the issues there. She did this when she went into season. I don’t know if just tired also. The 1st time I tried this game, she didn’t go around the 1st jump and other times. This is new. She is staying home this weekend from agility. Do I just need to work the one jump and the strike a pose? I did just set her in front of the jump for success like in the seminar. Thanks

Well she’s great at lead outs, I need work esp moving blinds.

I think I did the bang it correctly when I was on the other side. I’m supposed to be sideways not facing the teeter. She was going to end well so I added a little more tip. Being crafty since my teach it didn’t get built. She had a little hesitantion esp with me on the closer side. So I’ll definitely stay at this tip for awhile. For the angled, I did prop it with no tip. She found the entrance fine. My broad jump was too short so used a wing.

I’m going to do the start line game tomorrow morning. It sounds like a good prep game since Steve will be busy getting the dogs massages at my house. 🤞🙏 a little chance of rain. Hopefully clouds to cool off and no rain.

Teeter-ok I needed the visual, thanks I understand now. I guess I don’t have any movement at the bottom. I do want a weight under both sides of the teeter? I’ll move my chair so it moves a little.

When you couldn’t hear me, I was focusing on body language, not verbals lol very complicated 🤦‍♀️ I was very happy with her speed 😀

Here is some quick teeters. I did put weights under each side. She was confused doing the bottom behavior at 1st. I think I did it correct. So do I just keep practicing this behavior to teach her the end behavior? She seems really confortable with the teeter movement.

I worked just the go tonight. I moved the wing closer and felt I was throwing straight and early…since we were getting to the wing, I did the wrap and threw the other way. So when I wrapped the wing, my friend and I had a discussion on what verbal it should be. I was saying go since I need her to get out still. She was thinking the wrap verbal.

I started the tunnel /crate and I think the crate has more value even tho she’ll just do tunnels 🤦‍♀️ she wouldn’t look towards the tunnel…maybe she was tired lol it was the end of a long day 🤷‍♀️

Ok I’m upped our distraction training. My friend and her wild 2 year came to practice again. Rio was barking, I had airbnb guests coming. We did work the teeter but I’ll video next time. I did have some ankle weight and I bungeed them on. She didn’t hesitate at all with the little movement. As long as no rain, since I have to cover my teeter, I’m going to do short little sessions at this movement and barely change it. Like the serps you said. I’m adding it to my contact training rotation. I do think she’ll need the practice to get confortable when I let it move more and I don’t want her scared. I’m planning to take my time and get it good. Like my contact training.

She did better with the goes and surprisingly did the rears good. My friends dog was spinning. She didn’t get the great foundation I’m getting 😀

we did a practice of tunnel exits, didn’t record, just had Steve watching. For the gos, she comes out of the tunnel looking for me, I do keep moving and saying go, so she will, but wondering if best to throw her toy ahead.

The rain stopped to practice with low jumps. We definitely need to keep working this but moving the jumps out really helped 🤦‍♀️ I did keep adjusting the jump angle if she failed. She was tugging but if she tried to hump me I just pushed her off and either would have her sit or tug if she was ok. But so happy with the speed that was coming without me cheerleadering 🙌 my fear…I so don’t want a slow dog.

Steve, the course builder,is setting up the tunnel wing exit tomorrow, so it’ll be correct lol

Well she was very happy and excited to play…..I really know know but I was happy she was tugging and fast. She did before when we were just starting to tug. It was my multiple toys tied to together. I think I just need to tug a little bit then set her up. Before she starts humping.

Regarding -accordion, I had her at 12″ ugh and I had a practice measurement from a judge..sign over 18 but I’m going to keep trying to get her relaxed. I’m raising it to 16/20 on the set point

Ohhh that was the only time she was humming into me. Definitely need to practice that and an easy thing to do with rainy weather now.

Poor Tali, yes that would be much easier at 10′ spread out 🤦‍♀️

    She was humping the air/me.

Teeter-Actually sorry editing-She was worried on the 1st then got more comfortable.

    Thanks!

Finally I’m back 🤷‍♀️ I might by part time at Budget but still working more than 40 hours plus trialing.

I’ve been working daily her 2o2o and a frame. I’ve been do the 2 jump grids. She’s doing them well. When do I raise the bar in the accordion? Last time, she was out 20′.

I worked serps on 2-3 jumps earlier. I added my fake tunnel. She did really great I feel except the jump going to me, to the left. I put a 2 of them. I understand the other mistakes but not why she didn’t take the jump in front of her 🤦‍♀️ when she went into season, this is what she would do with the jump grids sorta. She would take 1 jump and the go around the 2nd. It was only this set up that she would not take the jump in front of her. She did so this a lot. I would basically show my hand a lot more.

I did do the last the one correctly, it just didn’t get recorded. I probably need to work on getting ahead more. Tonight she was really tugging and fast 😀 unfortunately she was getting a little too aroused (talked to Jennifer) but so happy with her speed.

I wasn’t to sure about the bang it game. When I had her getting on the bottom, it was really moving so I decided to do some climbing with the tilt. She wasn’t 100% sure at 1st but then got faster.

Just watched your connection video from clean run that Christina posted (😔❤️ Nikko) I’m saving it. I’m trying on Chaz and you get out on course and I forgot 🤦‍♀️ a new way of thinking. Hopefully it’ll be habit by the time I run Tali. Who I really think now might make 16″ class in AKC. She wouldn’t in the other venues, but I want a shot at Invitationals, she would need to be at 16″ plus much better on them. She is finally hunching more than stiffening and pushing up. Easier to bring a hunched back straight 🙏🤞

Question for lazy game for the break. I’m doing 2o2o on a board. She’s goes into the positron great and gets released to the MM. The teeter I’ll do 4 on (Chaz I did 2o2o so that was easy since the same) since she’s smaller. I do have a lid I’m using to treat at the top for mountain climber. What should I do for this one? Thanks!

Oh so hot even in the morning for 1st one. Circle wraps are definitely not in our tool box. This is something I’ll definitely revisit with your feedback later. It’s nothing we’d use for awhile and we both struggle which isn’t good. I needed to really watch the videoes to figure out what to do and not sure if did it correctly. The 1st part, was this morning when it was warm.

Question on week 3 contacts counter motion. She doesn’t know the sit while moving but I’m starting my motion while she does 2o2o. Can I just video that? I’m still struggling to train contacts and keep up so that’s why I haven’t worked on the sit. Eventually, we’ll do rally and she’ll need it. Thanks!

That’s one of my craft projects lol I’ve got two tugs with ball that she doesn’t like (Chaz did) so easy to tie things to.

Good suggestion about being dogless. That’s how I figured out what to say. I use Chaz as trial dog when I’m not sure, so she doesn’t shut down. I almost put tape with letters…I think I might do that

I did catch myself saying yah Tali…

I think she did both racetracks both ways pretty equal. But great suggestion to add it in more.
