I’m glad we’re off to a good start. I missed your feedback πŸ˜€

I do have friends with teeter…much nicer ones lol I noticed in the video it looks angled but I thought was straight on…πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ It’s a combo of cheese and treats
Should I just keep wrapping the jump and working the different positions and getting more lateral?

Oh the sprinklers..so I kept it on the patio…the plank is very heavy and so I need Steve to help move to the grass. And I’ll stand in the middle. I’ve heard people put wings to help them find the angled entrances.

Lazy-I’ve got a big yard, so that’s where the shade was. I may try this one in the upper level without such good grass. I was trying some sending but think I needed to throw the cheese further away at the start to show more motion.

Regarding tossing the cheese -So I toss before she takes the jump? I thought I needed to wait for her to take it. That will definitely help her finding the jumps.

    Thanks!

Lazy game – I hope you enjoy the sounds of my waterfall as you watch Tali eat cheese πŸ˜€ she started that this is stupid. She would just stand there πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ I did a few with Chaz and upped the treats and then she got it. She definitely looks a lot a me. Definitely going to be handler focused.

So excited to be part time (mostly working 4 days but 6 1/2 hours) and having the time to focus on training Tali πŸ˜€

Teeter games -wow she did so great. She is timid of movement and noises somewhat. I have a wooden plank that is painted with sand. Chaz had issues getting to the top when I demoed him so I was worried but small and light Tali didn’t have issues. She did so well I had to trim some trees to make room for the wing. It’s on a slight hill but needed a place away from the sprinklers and shade is a bonus. I used velcro to a lid as my target at the top.

Yes that does make sense and being elevated will make it different. And the elevation will be good practice πŸ˜€

Ok question on the plank game. I’m teaching the 2o2o on a 3.5′ plank. I actually cut a 7′ in half. How do I not confuse her? I can put the 2 pieces together or I can use my DW up plank but its got a curved piece that I would have to stabilize. She probably could use the movement. Would I just not say touch or would I just stop her? Thanks!

Ok thanks, the set point I had 12″, I was going to move to 14″. Do you want me up the spacing on the set point and accordion (the 1st 2 jumps)to 6′? I do plan to alternate. I’ll raise the set point and keep moving out the accordion. On the accordion, what distance out to I go to? Would I want to mix up the distances later? I really want a good jumping foundation. I’ve got other grids I’ve done with Chaz. I wish I did grids early with him, not later when he’s knocking bars.

And I’ll introduce the double lowered like you suggested. Can I do the triple? I’m going to have to keep notes.

    Thanks!

I think I messed up the measurements…she’s 5′ and I think/meant to add 6′. I believe from reading that you wanted me to add 3′ more from the original 3. And then I moved 3′. I had the jump at 8″ for all 3.

I didn’t record our morning practice but I did just wings and slanting. I started this session with it slanted and did get some distance. My throwing was late but she still did it. I am happier this time.

I do like the 2o2o class you recommended. I didn’t really work the release with Chaz.

After this feedback I feel we understand the games. We’ve got agility the next 3 days so I’ll post on be more accordion grid on Monday. I’m happy I got all caught up. I’ll keep practicing the games in the month off while working contacts and maybe weaves.

The 1st is 8″..I know that stays low from my memory. Good ideal on the double. I guess I could a triple also maybe.

My car is full but I’ve got 2 wings πŸ™Œ I had to bring a 4′ bar. And my laundry pop-up. I’m going to work the backside one. I think the rest is pretty good.

I did sign up for Tammy’s class. I figured that was good stuff to do in the trip.

I did the set point at 10 once and then raised it 12″. I don’t need to lower it again do I? And how many reps should I be doing at this one. And it’s my 5′ distance.

I feel this was graduation lol that was a lot of running. My homework is just getting more speed. She shows some. She loves the turn and burn. But I need to get her less clingy and driving to the jumps. I had to really push out to the wings. I left one blooper. They were like that that. I feel I’m looking at her. She did good and did the exercises but I definitely need more confidence. The race tracks, she doesn’t like. I tried to get her excited and instead of my normal dog food, I got cheese puffs out.

Sounds good and doing the starfish, she is back to not wanting to go left. I need to try going to the right. Lots to work with a couple of wings while I’m gone. I kudzu need to work it more. Starfish is going good except it’s hot and she’s not ranting to out to the left wing, but she’s doing it at least. Just slow since she’s not sure.

    Thanks!

I did try the looking at her…when I thought of it. I forgot to use a 5′. I’ll pack 2. I meant I need the bar for my path. I would step in to her when it ended. I did angle the jump some and I’ll keep it up.
Yes I didn’t drop it early enough.

She did good ah the counter motion but I think some was it was like the serps and she didn’t want to come with my motion going away. Why I did some turning towards her.

Any suggestions other than looking at her to keep her path out and not coming into me. I mean when we’re going to the jump and I’m trying to stay over, she comes into me and then back out around the wing. Lateral running distance….that I’ll need.

    Thanks!
