Ok I get it….Like Morganne Wagoner-Perry and Christina Wessel runs….I just watched some her videos again. I need visuals. Why I love your format. I love the video explanations. This is definitely something new……

So for the go, do I just throw the lotus ball past the jump? Get her to just to out to the jump, not worry about turning? And is it the left racetrack she struggled, correct? So do I throw it just past the wing, or on both should I try and throw it around the wind. I tried using a MM like you suggested and put it behind the wind and it confused her. If I’m using a MM, where would I place it?

Ok I think I’m confused. I’m supposed to just look her in the eyes? No pointing…I always thought looking in the eye is a decel thing…no expert tho. While waiting for paint to dry literally…I tried some. I did get faster when I played a little 1st…warm the…? Forget the name. I didn’t use verbals much since hard to remember and focus on not pointing. IDK she definitely doesn’t like to left or out to a jump….right race track looked good. Also didn’t want to do the rocking horses.
I think the pointing helps me….but I know I need to not point with big arms. It’s hard to point back with magnetic collar…she’s ahead 🤷‍♀️

Took some time off this sunny week to catch up some 😀 we worked on tunnel exits. I started the go go to a turn and burn…she loved it. Then rewarded the video and realized it’s back to the tunnel…she didnt like that as much. I did struggle earlier with the sending to jump but still did better than before. She also doesn’t like the racetrack. She was slow. It’s not in the video but anything but done correctly was treated a reset cookie.

I’m sure I’m not saying the cues early….I do have a hoarse voice

A side note -she’s scared of the table /whicket and unfortunately stiffens up. The weekend I got the whicket on the ground on her and she’s really close to 18″ 🙏🤞 I’m working on making the table /whicket a happy place.

Do you need a teach it or table for the teeter class? How much space? It’s in my basement till summer. I thought I would do some plank work while the weather is bad (more snow now). I’m behind but I need outdoor space for most of the current class it seems.

No worries….I have to power video 😀

Re-set point – Will do….do I need the pool noodle still? I’m going to just leave that set up outside until snow…rain on my day off Tuesday, but love the longer days 😀

Smiley face – such good feedback that I suck at. I need the feedback /reminders. I love that I get such better feedback at these little things that make up the big picture 😀 I think I’ll try moving the wing further out so I can decel better.

    Thanks!

I realize I really need to work on verbals so practiced minney penny and wrap in a wing. Any feedback on smiley face?

I did a few set point to see if this looks good.

Thanks great feedback on the toy. I think this is where I went wrong with Chaz. I didn’t just tug in the yard. She was great with the wind one 🤷‍♀️ she’s an hormonal female. Deer don’t usually come in the yard when they are out….esp screaming banshee Tali. When I have time,it’s on my list to teach her leave it like the other dogs will do.

We’re working this morning so I’ll try the set point again and the smiley face after your feedback. Thanks!

I think I ruined my toy drive 🤦‍♀️😂 she loves cheese puffs so when practicing Smiley Face and she wasn’t interested in her toy, I put cheese balls in a lotus ball. She didnt want her toy for set point. I do think the back yard is more Distracting and she did have to chase a deer out during our practice….bad Tali, stupid deer. She was trotting until I put the lotus ball on a line and then she was going better.

This is just a quick set point to see how 5′ looked. I did 5′ and then the last 2 were 4′. I think she was getting tired at the end.

Wow!! What a difference the moving target makes. Chaz’s downfall is knocked bars so I do really want Tali to have great jumping. This is back to 4′ with a moving target. Can I raise it a little and how often do I do this?

I’m glad you’re watching 😁 ugh I didn’t have treats….so correct, I don’t acknowledge the mistake (my fault yes) but I should be treating. I do need to work on dog side arm back….even with Chaz.

Set-point- I have cavalettis (using to hold the bar) but haven’t done them. I’ll try that tonight inside. Thanks!

Here’s the set point. I did slow mo just so I can see. I’m not sure what you prefer. I did 4 of my feet and it looked like she was taking an extra stride so I did 3.
