After never having a problem with noises nor moving obstacles Punch had an adolescent “Who would ever do THAT?” week off. Now she’s back to regular Punch and wants to do all the things.

Ladder went well except when she turns toward me and ends up sideways

I’ve never lived in the left side of my body so this took LOTS of practice without a dog and then more practice with Sini. These are the turns I think I’m doing with Punch here:

First attempt at Rocky Horse Game. Punch is truly gifted at making sense out of total confusion from her handler!

Help!!! My mechanics hurt to watch my lap turns/tandem turns? Everybody makes these look so easy.

Strike a Pose or Strike of the Possessed?

Thank you for help with my mechanics!!!!

Well the Prop Game just got a whole lot easier! And the Trash hat is looking a bit less trashy.

Because I need to make everything more difficult, in PreGame:Prop Value! Video when you said the prop can’t be an agility obstacle, and can’t be a bunch of other named things, you slipped in “can’t be a target” and THAT is what stuck in my head. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 (and working through the frustration was a huge leap forward in my learning!)

Because the struggle is particular (and real!) to me, is the “Nose to Target”, the white-target in handler’s hand to be used anywhere else besides the hand? Or is this basically a nose to hand-Target and the ‘white thing’ fades away?

Thank you for putting up with my questions – I find huge holes in my understanding of agility by falling into them.

OMG! OMG! OMG! Oprah Ah-ha moment!

    The prop IS A TARGET
it is not anything normally considered an ‘agility target’. It is a target novel to the dog and novel to agility so it is named Prop. 😳🙄

Thank you for the GREAT feedback! I struggle with clean mechanics!! I will spend more sessions on switching between toy and food with tug before starting a session!

The Blah Prop. I realize I hate this prop. It’s a ruined hat. It was MY hat then I found it ruined! Hate makes a bad prop. I’ll switch to a box. A very neutral-to-me box. Punch has an affinity for cardboard and there is a box in the basement that she pounces ‘on her own’ for fun.
This is the last video ever of the Blah Prop. Go bye-bye trash hat! We trade you for cardboard.

New to both of us box

First time with ‘Solid’ wing wrap. He appears to like this more than the mesh clothes basket – but then I’m being a daredevil with the toy draped around my neck.

Nose touch – she seems very detracted by food in my hand and her effort certainly declines with each rep. This is her “this is dumb” attitude when I’m failing to produce enough drive – or presence of food too distracting??

Driving ahead for toy. Trying to get a toy hand, a treat hand, and a collar hand – yikes!

Decel Drive – Am I supposed to stand still and turn as Punch returns to me or run and turn as in video? I think she drives more for run and turn?

Punch Food Brain is slow to transition to Tug Brain. This is foreign to me. She has a different Belgian brain than I’ve had before……and I just realized there have been no ‘accidental blood lettings’ from her!!

Tunnel seems to help jazz her up – but then after food I can almost see her trying to brake her food brain to refocus on toy.

Plankrobotics and turning. Punch has lots of ‘Jazzercise’ experience! We’ve primarily used the board for 2on2off at the ends. Here I’m trying to get turns. She doesn’t seem deterred to me if her hind end slips off.

Trying to clean up mechanics here. Two hands for treats, a third for clicker and another pair of right and left for target. I think I’m improving in the later attempts here.

YES! YES! This is EXACTLY what I need!!! All of the feedback you can dish on cleaning my mechanics! It’s a mystery how I’ve survived to an advanced age while being so uncoordinated. Video helps so I was actually worse before I made the posted videos. 🙄

So happy for your feedback! Thank you! Thank you! (From Punch too!)

Punch Prop – Black Friday Sale at Pet’s Plus. NOW we have better treats so first time not interested in toy for this game!

Punch Wing wrap – she has done some of this before. Should she look at bowl or me or does it matter? New treats aren’t stealth here!

Safe travels! We are looking forward to Brain Camp tomorrow.

Found something light enough to pick up but long enough for all 4 Punch feet – short end is toward the camera. Here she tries a bit too hard and lays down once. Does this look right?
