    Hi,
Today’s efforts. First time without the inverted box on the plank since the start. I will put the box under for at the barn and keep it at this level, but otherwise should I start adding any of the package 4 exercises or stay where I am for more sessions?

    Hi,
The first video is Tues night at the barn where I teach. It is a cow roping barn and Lanna finds it extremely distracting. She has actually found it harder than the seminars we’ve attended.
There is definitely loss of accuracy. So I tried to keep it easier. This is the first week doing plank at the barn. I can only train there once a week weather permitting (it is unheated).

This was today. I didn’t post the in between which was similar to today’s except I didn’t change the box. I folded down sides instead of cutting them so I could put them back for the barn next week.

    Hi,
Today’s efforts. I cut down the box, moved the mm further away, and When I moved the mm around the circle it was to 15 degrees and 30 degrees.

Today’s session. The one yesterday looked a lot like the last one I posted but this one I think we made a breakthrough.

    Hi,
I tried to work target on ground and she kept running back and forth between target and plank like I get cookies for plank. So I tried cookie tosses on plank and that seemed better. Did several of those and then a short session with mm. This was 1 session but I clipped into 2 smaller clips so you didn’t have to fast forward past me getting the mm. Should I do more back and forth cookie or continue with close mm or some of each?

    Hi,
This is our first day back doing anything agilityish (except for working stand to be measured). I tried the plank with inverted box and target as suggested. She was not leaping the inverted box without the plank prior to her time off, but I have done no target work for a week.

    Hi,
I’m glad it looked ok. Lanna hurt her toe this weekend and although she thinks she’s fine she’s off for a week to be safe. We will do with the inverted target once she’s off rest. I’m bummed it happened in the middle of this class, but I can’t risk making a small injury a big one.

    Hi,
Thanks. We will start working wing with angle and I will work to eliminate the step toward the target. Here are attempts 1 and 2 at target on plank in line. This was not as successful.

    Try 1

    Try 2

    Hi,
I apologize for not posting more. Life has been crazier than usual. I am electing to start fresh with posting package 3 exercises, but if you want anything from 1 or 2 I have tons of video that has never been downloaded. It just feels overwhelming to back post. Here is target plus wing.

Here is toy with target. When I started using toy instead of treats I had to reward once with toy then switch back to treats or she couldn’t focus on the target at all. This is huge forward progress from where we started.

    Hi,
The elevated target game went basically 100% all 4 hit till I tried a circle shaped target. By the end it was looking better in spite of my not always great shaping skills. I did a square platform the same size as the rubber bowl before this.

    Hi,
Sorry to do a large data dump. Here are the rest of the videos. These were from over the past 2 weeks. Unfortunately I am still so far behind from traveling and then the craziness of COVID at work.

The get out exercises. Getting the correct side of the tunnel was a bigger challenge than I expected :).

The go exercise. Sometimes it is hard to be more exciting than cow poop :).

Week 5 exercises with a little Haydn. Lanna has big opinions about my handling. The back side blind was very smooth with Pippin. I was consistently late with Lanna.

Thanks so much for another great course. I wish life hadn’t made joining this one quite so difficult.

    Hi,
Since I’m so behind, I included another Haydn section. Lanna’s videos will come later (hopefully later today). I think the refusal to do a backside is a training issue not a handling one, but wanted your opinion. Also, this is better than where we started because when I sent to back side 6 months ago, he’d just leave.

I did get a couple of Lanna loaded. Here are 1 and 3 with her. She got a little sticky on rep 2 exercise 3. She’s also starting to bark on back side sends. Is that a handling issue or just general mouth ones? Should I ignore it? It also popped up on the lap turns.

    Hi,
Haydn is a wee bit at 11 in and 9lb. This time is back to all Lanna videos. Leslie taped our tries at sequence 1 in bits and pieces :).

And sequence 2 – a bit better on the lap turn

    Hi,
Since I am way behind with time off for seminaring, my mom, and now off again for a pulled wisdom tooth I included both Haydn and Lanna sessions the beginning of the week instead of submitting 2 of Lanna. They both did better than Pip on the lap turn who mostly stops, stares, and barks :). It has been the one move we have never been able to get to work in sequence. Lanna makes her opinion of my efforts quite clear as well, although she does do the turn.

    And the toss back
