ParticipantAny further advice on where to go after I perfect the LBG and Forward Focus games would be appreciated. For example, if there is a next stage to these games.

ParticipantKim, if you are unable to see this or respond, I understand. Life kicked my butt for a bit but I am moving forward. This is my latest work with the LBG with Blanche. I plan on practicing it a whole lot more. My work with forward focus game has improved in following through with your instructions.https://youtu.be/fcsBzoi3JRE

ParticipantHere’s my Lazy bastard assignment. This was hard.

Here is my Forward Focus assignment. This is the third or fourth practice session. I used it at the practice jump at a trial.Kathy Grace
ParticipantOkay, Kim, I will get on this!
Kathy Grace
ParticipantWow, yes, Kim. To get her interested in playing with me with toys I gave food reinforcement after every engagement. I have never discontinued that! Ahhhh. Wow, yes, I see the handler focus. Damn. Someone coached me from the sidelines of a trial run, screaming “run, run, run” to get me to get ahead of her and stay there. That definitely increased her speed. However, that continues handler focus. You can see several spots in the Invitational run where I did not take the chance to blind ahead of her when I clearly had the chance. Again, reinforcing the handler focus. Yikes.
Okay, now we are getting to the root of my problem. Can’t wait to see how to fix it. I have no idea.
Kathy Grace
ParticipantKim, this was our best clean run at the Invitationals. It was wonderful. However, speed was a good 7 seconds slower than one of the other dogs of her breed and jump height.

ParticipantTo answer your previous questions: Yes I have used the ready treat/manners minder with her this past summer to speed weaves and work on dogwalk contact. She is hustling but I wouldn’t call it drive. I will send you my 2nd round of work on lesson 2 which shows lead out and a sling shot.
Kathy Grace
ParticipantHere is our work on part of lesson 2 using the assignment you gave us for treat to drive her.

ParticipantP.S. I’m using my iPad and downloading them to YouTube.

ParticipantVery sorry everyone. I cannot keep track of exactly how to put my videos on here. Every time I am successful, it’s by accident and I don’t know how I did it!!!! Help, Kim.
