Spot on. Amazing how you picked up so much just by watching my walk thru.
I will try to incorporate this into next week’s walk thru

I tweaked the course and redid 15-18 course 3 package 3. Things are very tight at 17. Having a better thredle cue will help me leave earlier and decrease congestion at 17. Turning toward the 4 wing is the better option.
    Course 2
Abort until we are better at our cue don’t take anything until I tell you
I think my position cue blind cue are good, but this is what I might use to get the weaves. Obviously she thinks it is.
    Package 4 Mulligan
I tried harder on the walk thru.
She can rip to the tunnel on her own. Minimum connection needed. I walked the turn at 5 both ways. Staying at the 5 was shorter distance, but turning her the other way have her a nicer line back to the tunnel.
My turn away worked but I didn’t feel like I had as much control as turning with her. Up in the air about these choices.
    Course 2
Last week I ran 4 slouching from the 4 side. Today it dawned on me that she is independent 1-3 I could just step over to 4 slice and send her to 5. I need to get connection at 6 to get the correct end of the tunnel. Much easier for both of us.
Package 4 course set up for next week.

Not good at course walking. I can’t seem to RUN with imaginary Tokaji. I am thinking more about choices than I have before. This is hard. I Cones. I thought 5 was a backside 😩
    Seq 1
I think a blind 5-6 to get the right turn on the 9 wing side of 5.
Never saw that we were supposed to take 11 Cones for sure.
    Seq2
Judging from her vocals she was not pleased with my blind 6-7. Maybe a front would have been the better choice since I can send her to 5 and be in a good spot to start the FC and I don’t have to get anywhere since she is coming back to 8 ?
    Seq 3
Can’t decide which opening I looked better.
Should have blind 8-9 with right turn cue

These were not crazy, they were carefully orchestrated plans of attack and you are interesting more craziness with the blind crossπŸ˜€ we will try it. I am thinking a quick snap, no arms and a quick hard reconnection so she isn’t left wondering where to go.
    Course 1.
I see what you mean about getting too far ahead on 2. I felt very awkward there.
Double blind..? More craziness to try
    Course 3
Not entirely sure how to handle 2 caused hiccups at 2 and delay at 3-4 my mind was still at 2. Still not sure about my verbals at 2
After 13 she went off to the other tunnel.
At 1:35 I just put her in the tunnel so I was down at the end and not running. I think I could send her out to get 11 and 12 while I hung further back so I would be closer to the tunnel exit.
16-17-18 an awful lot going on here. My mind is not thinking ahead. Still thinking about the blind at 17 after it has happened.
I’ll try tweaking the set up next week.
I do have issues especially when the handling is tight and I am close to her keeping my mind thinking ahead.
    Thanks for your help

We are leaving this up another week 😩
Masters Course 2….. Jump 12 missing and I didn’t notice, but that wasn’t our problem !
Even with the speed I got a nice turn on 14. There was nothing smooth about my handling. I think the bee at .34 may have helped us. HELP US !
Course 1. Much better handling option !
Course 3….I walked the opening a million ways and decided a turn away from me with a mm mo, turn tight on the wing would let me do a blind 3-4 so I could stay ahead. There is that yellow tunnel out there calling her name. I think I could have blinded 11-12 and been on the other side. I don’t know if that would have helped.
I can’t hesitate and turn into her to get the therefore 15-16. What would you do 17-18 ? These are great courses for connecting. I need to do better at it. When I don’t have that connection she squirts away

Quick question. Is the new challenge pack out yet ? Only asking because I like to set up the new one after running the current one. I still have plenty to work on so a break would be fine 🀣

    Super powers practice
No trouble staying in the weaves when I blind, I was a little worried about that, haven’t done weaves in ages
I can lose the arms and get it smother and faster

Yes you were right. Timing was not an issue, all that was needed was a deep breath and courage. Next step is to try with the weaves. Don’t know that you will get me to do it at a trial but with more practice ???
    Course 1
I could lead out beyond 2, complete my fc before she takes off for 2 and rc 3 or blind 3 (need to practice the blind)! Which brings me to a question is it better to lead out between 2-3 and run into the fc or lead beyond 2 ?
    Course 2
I had to work out which would be best at 9. I knew with the tunnel I needed strong connection, a German would work but I didn’t like where it put me for 11 etc. The slicing rear was easiest for me.
    About the verbals 🀣
Trying to sort out the nuances,. Mo mo tight turn on the wedding of 9….. Right turn right after 9
I think right was the one that worked best.
As we use more verbals, she is becoming more responsive to them and it has gotten me into trouble when I am not precise in the one I choose
13-14-15 I think you were putting in a little snooker practice. Still need to figure out how to set the line to 15. She has a good tunnel send it only I could direct her.
Walking the courses for all of this camp is helping me look at which choices would be best for Tokaji and me. So often I second guess my handling choices because they are not what I see others doing

First. I need to put tunnel bags on the teeter
We are having a lot of trouble 2-3 when she lands from 2 she is almost beyond the 3 wing. Maybe my set up is wrong ? But say it is ok. I need to shorten her stride at 2.
    I could do a FC after 2 and a rear at 3 ?
I need to go in a little further than I would like to get the weave entrance but no matter I can catch her in the weaves. I thought 9 was a backside because 6&9 were on the same jump and if you turn the course up side down as I do sometimes 6 becomes 9 🀣 Front side would be easier.
    Course 2
9-10 I liked 2.43 best. I was able to stay ahead better.
Still can’t get 14-15 You can’t see well but I think I am not connecting, setting the new line and going. My line is not right and I am standing there.
I will put the camera down there next week.

3 blinds in a row ??? Something to aspire to. I imagine the timing would have to be spot on and you would have to keep moving thru it

    MΓ‘s 2. Seq 2
If the cone was the weaves (too hot to take the weaves out) is this what you mean by handling from the landing side of 11?
I am having a hard time figuring out where I should be when she exits the poles

I would like a Mulligan in these, but I have alredy set up the next course πŸ˜”
    Basically, late..late..late
The loud go go at the tunnel was actually mo mo (tight turn) need to remember to tone it down a bit
Course 2 late soft break at 4, I think I could have stayed by 4 and just take a step to 5 with a soft break, A reverse spin at 7 into the tunnel would have been a thing of beauty. Never thought of it.
I can FC the weaves much earlier than I did. Handling on the landing side of 11.
The double blind is a weakness of ours. I need to figure out how to train it. Ideas ?
    Course 3
Opening up my shoulders at 4 and getting a better line would help smooth our slice at 5. I just felt awkward there.
Starting the blind while she is in the tunnel is the same thing you told me to do last week, I didnt remeber. Is it a pretty safe rule to turn your head and start the blind when the dog is in the tunnel ?
Remember the days when you waited until the dog was one stride before the jump before you gave the next cue ? Still fighting that πŸ₯΄
