ParticipantSubmission 3 – Perch work (see other two above posted separately)
I did a few just getting on it but also tried to get back feet moving too. I see that I was trying to lure him with a treat and turned his head about as often as i used pressure. I also see it didn’t really work. LOL! Anyway, here’s the perch work first video effort. I left the play part in because when he thought there was food on the ground he didn’t want the toy. Eventually he went for it, but had to work at it. Any thoughts on that?

ParticipantOK, submission 2… Goat tricks – He seemed perfectly comfortable on the couch cushion. Will move on with this one. In puppy class last week we did a ‘bravery day’ where they walked on and interacted with lots of stuff. Instructor taped it – not sure the quality, but will post here when she gets it online. She had us lure, but he seemed fine with everything. She was walking around with crutches as we did this, but no noises. Will add that too. On to a wobble board!

ParticipantWill do! Thanks! I taped 3 different things – do you prefer that we just send one at a time, or just let you binge watch all 3? Since I had trouble posting before I think I’ll just do one per post and you can address them as you have time.
This one is dual training. We’ve worked on both dogs in stays and releasing 1 at a time before we started this class. Haven’t really worked it inside, so I started with a hand cue and plan to fade that as Spot seems to ‘get’ what I am asking. Anyway, here’s this one – it was long and I trimmed one rep of each dog out and Spot’s last trick time out.

ParticipantI worked on Cookies in the Corner again – here’s where we are. He had been carrying around a toy and brought it in and dropped it so I just left it there – not trying for a treat distraction yet, but he seems ok with a toy there to me. Am I see that correctly? Oh – also I’ve been using white cheese so it’s easier to see.

ParticipantThanks Tracy!!!

ParticipantHaven’t even heard of it. Sorry. Will ask around for you tho.

ParticipantHere’s two in a row so please see video above also. 🙂
This one is long also, but since he’s a bit slow on the uptake with the tug I kept all that in there. If you want to fast forward thru to just the reps of cookies in the corner please do. After a couple of good ones I threw a bag of treats off to the left of the screen. Anyway, here’s where we are with this…

ParticipantOK, so this morning I looked and ALL the times I tried to submit finally went thru. I posted a text message saying ‘please disregard the above’ and now that isn’t showing up a few hours later. I think I”ll start a new thread and see if that makes a difference, since these seem to be going.
