Hi Tracy

We had 15 minutes to flee our house because Eaton Canyon is only 4 blocks away and we got an emergency alert to evacuate now. By some quirk of fate our street survived with all of the destruction around us. I believe the danger is past although we are not allowed to go home and the National Guard is stationed to prevent us. There is no power or gas in the neighborhood and the tap water is contaminated.

We got out with our dogs and are staying with friends. Poor Joplin is very anxious but we will be OK. So many of our friends and neighbors lost everything.
