ParticipantThanks Tracy. I know that Dikkens loves the closeness. Is there any course that would help him get more independence on jumps? He is faster than me and can tend to crash me when I am too close. But if I am not close or accidentally disconnect he looks at me and not where he is going. The challenges of different styles.

ParticipantThanks so much for the amazing feedback. Laughing about jump 14. I thought that seemed terribly difficult. I have the same error with Dikkens. My poor dogs. What they put up with. I will try all of your suggestions. I am including a run made by Dikkens on the same course.
Sorry this post was so long after my last post. My Dad passed away and one of my dogs passed the next day so it has been a difficult few weeks. Just getting back to agility. I would so love to have participated more this summer but alas things did not work out.

ParticipantThanks so much for the detailed feedback. I did try the rear side of the 2nd jump form the other direction with Charlee and for whatever reason found the side that I chose in the video easier. I will definably work on more independence. Dikkens is a velcro dog and I am not great and giving Charlee the freedom that she can handle.
Gidget is wonderful. Again I have not progressed like I would have thought because of the heat. I need to take a course with her to build her drive. She has such drive when she free runs in the field and she has it sometimes when we work but it really varies.
I will video Dikkens if it cools off enough this evening. Unbelievably it was over 90 again yesterday and today.

ParticipantPlease see my first video. I am so far behind. I have nit done any agility as our temperatures have been over 90. We are finally in upper 70s low 80s
