It’s a relatively new late autumn dance move. He leaves his 4yo chi-dachsi mix sibs alone. It seems I’m his only dance target,er partner, but it’s only if I get down on the ground with him. Due to bad knees, that’s a rare occasion.
He’s redirected pretty easily. I’ve added the rest of our session because I’d love your feedback. I did play longer on the ground there with him because my thinking was he’s an intact male and I need to be sure he can get refocused, even if there’s a pretty girlie in heat nearby. We did a few tug retrieves, and quickly determined he was clearly done with training. I sent him back for his abandoned tug, a skill he knows, but he glanced back and saw the magic cookie hand go to pocket and raced back. I hid the cookie under my shoe. His persistent nose got it. It was close to dinner time. He seemed chill, so we just hung out, and watched the rest of the sunset.
Should be viewable now. Boogie is a Looney Tunes. Camper x Bugs, but whelped same day and raised with Pizzas 2.0. We were the crazy fangirl and fandog stalking you at CanAm until I realized you were back to back and we held our awe in check. 😂
