Video worked today, YAY! I had a backup (my GoPro) going just in case I screwed up with my phone again. 😀
Here is drive ahead Take 2. Started out with more distance then added a few toy races. It was nice and cool this morning and Hola was ready to run & play! We also did the Decel/Turns and Prop Send game. I feel quite rusty with my timing, etc. and I’m realizing that I need to try to get back in shape so I can run! It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything like this. 🙂
Tonight we hope to work on the wing wrap foundations. Tried to do that last night but Gingji complained so loudly about it we had to stop. Hola and I will wait until Gingji goes to bed and then we’ll tackle that one.

Wow Tracy, watching the live training session the other night was so much fun! So much fun I’m going to watch last night’s, too!
I didn’t video but practiced both pre-games without the clicker and tossing the treat away with “get it”. Worked much better!
So…this isn’t like me at all but I’ve been having technical difficulties videoing with my phone! We did several games yesterday only to find that I either didn’t turn on record or it’s cutting out on me, ugh! Nothing like doing a game and then realizing we did all that session only to find it’s not on video. Since I don’t want to keep her re-doing the same thing over and over I decided to wait another day and same thing happened today, LOL! I did, however, get ONE video when on the drive ahead and focus forward game. Toy/tugging maniac that Hola is, this is her kind of game. Yesterday when I did this game (video error) I used a 2nd toy to get her driving back to me which always works well. She usually races all the way back and drops the toy to grab the 2nd toy I have in my hand. Today I decided to see what I had if I didn’t use a 2nd toy (I did have one on me just in case I needed it) and I thought she did quite well! She loves to whack herself with the toy but she also loves tugging with me, so she has that incentive to bring it back. I try to give her a good tugging party for bringing it back hoping that will help with the retrieve. Anyway, here is my one and only video from the last 2 days. I hope to do better over the weekend and make more progress getting videos uploaded for you. The videos that I didn’t get were the send to prop and the turn foundations. I thought she did well on those, but will do the baby level on all the games so you can see what her baseline is.
I see what you mean when you said this MaxPup is so different from the one Gingji did! I love this and the format with live training sessions, too. My husband had surgery today so while I spent hours in the waiting area I visited the forum and watched everyone’s videos and read all the feedback and responses. Great fun!
Game 2 was harder for me to hold the clicker and treats in 1 hand. I had to restart about 3 times because I kept dropping treats. I even tried 3 different types of treats, these mechanics are hard for me.
