Here is our next session where we tried the backside sequences. A couple I broke into parts where we were struggling. https://youtu.be/FvgtjXQTHB8

Hope your weekend is getting off to a good start. 🙂

Here is a rework session of the backside skills. Hopefully, we’ve made some progress. We did the last skill as well, but someone forgot to hit that big red record button LOL. It felt similar to what we did captured. https://youtu.be/cwKnBUuzZng.

Thanks for the quick feedback. I’ll work through these and then post another video session of them. I could feel we struggled more with these :).

Here are the skills for backside disconnecting. https://youtu.be/I9nYrkn2HTU
I just got a new phone. The framing gets better once I realized I was headless. :).

I had a tough time disconnecting. I kept catching myself staying connected.

I am totally down for meeting you in NYC and seeing Hamilton!
I’ll go check out the puppy class for the backside proofing. 🙂 That should help us along with this week’s disconnection games. Thanks!

Hi hope your week is going well, Yep too many years of being in the pit. I would love to go to Broadway and see Hamilton :).

I matched up your comments with the video and thanks, they all make sense. Really helpful on the reverse V set as that’s not a move I’m really comfortable with yet. Also helpful to know I don’t need to increase the exit line connection as I did rerun that for that very reason :).

Early on we did a bit of the proofing game with her, but not as much as you show in the advanced part of max pup with the serp/threadle/tuynnel round the clock. I can pick that back up with her and once she is successful with the angles, should I add some speed into it as well? I know speed makes her brain go Yipee Yahoo!

Is the video for the backside proofing part of the game 4 package or in the Max Pup course? I wasn’t sure. 🙂

Thanks again for all your help.

Hi Tracy, Here is the link to the video https://youtu.be/O4d9l61nl0Q
Works been really busy these last weeks as we’re deploying to OK, VT, and FL for COVID. Lack of sleep was getting the best of me with old verbals sneaking in and I struggled to remember to get all the pieces in there for her. So just tried to keep it fun for her.

    CC3 Week 2: https://youtu.be/BGrQMx9Yeag

I hope your 12-hour drive went well. 🙂 These generated a lot of questions as I ran/reviewed the videos.

AT:18 it seems like I’m not conveying clearly to her that she will be wrapping back as it seems like her trajectory is not a wrap and she fixes it more on the flat. The second time at 26 seemed a bit better (head turn), but later I noticed it again.

Starting at:51 I tried to show her the difference between the two options. The previous one felt unsure and I caught her looking at me so I tried showing them to her back to back. She read the difference but what do I need to do to clean up my handling to make it clearer? It still felt hesitant running her.

At 2:34 vs 2:49 I tried another option though you get an unnecessary side change.

For the last course, what’s the decision process to determine the best handling? I tried two options. The BC seemed to get me further up the line. Also, if I’m trying to time both options to see which is faster, how much of the course do you include for effective evaluation?

Sorry for the long post, I guess my evil obsessive twin took over. 🙂

Thanks for the detailed feedback Tracy. Yes what you shared makes sense and is really helpful. I’ll set it up again and give it another go. 🙂

I had a question concerning the verbal after the serpentine. I started with a right tight turn but from the line, I figured that really wasn’t correct and changed to just a right turn. Is “right” the correct verbal for that line?

The longer course was fun though we haven’t gotten it. 🙂 You have our first run, the closest we came with “oh $#%$*@! handling on my part” and then the final run we tried.

We worked the non-seminar exercises during this week at low bar heights, and those went well so I figured I’d send the video where we struggled the most.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.
