ParticipantHi Tracy,
Here’s our lazy pinwheel game. I wasn’t sure if food or toys are better so I have both to see what you think. I also find it hard to not stay connected LOL after trying hard to stay connected. I wasn’t sure if I should give it a go and try less connection? Let me know 馃檪

ParticipantHi Tracy,
Quick admin item. I received the email with a link for the Max Pup 3 Seminars, but it won鈥檛 let me pay. 馃檪 Should I wait for a new link or send via Paypal?

ParticipantHi Tracy,
Here’s tunnel threadles. The trucks drowns them out, but I was holding him to let him process the wing wrap versus the wing left verbals. We tried this once at home and he was happy flying into the tunnel from the left every time. LOL. The extra prep seemed to help him. Thoughts?

ParticipantOkay yea I think I see what you are saying. So looking at the left side, it could be like there is a traditional line of serpentine jumps heading to the left. So he takes the lead out jump and then I stay on the takeoff side of the jump I’m near to FC him to that one and then he could come back say over another jump along the serp line.
So then I can start to move up the serp line so he gets the lateral lead out and commits to the serpentine line that I show him with the FC and motion moving up the serp line. Is that the correct mental model? So I can keep ahead 馃檪

ParticipantYea, I’ve been thinking through things regarding his name and nicknames. I was thinking that “KO” or “LO” would sound a lot like “Go”. But maybe if I can get myself to say it quietly as you mentioned. But I agree TAULO sounds too close to TUNNEL. LOL 馃檪

ParticipantSo yep, it was the German turn then. Yea, he smoked me at the end. LOL

ParticipantThanks, Tracy for the clarification. My bad. I got confused somewhere regarding the bar height during class. But I will fix that and drop them down to 8″ across the board so he can sort out just the striding. 馃檪

ParticipantHere are the lateral lead-outs with a bit more space than my backyard. Thanks as always for your feedback. I’m looking forward to Max Pup 3 opening tomorrow :).

ParticipantAfternoon
Here is a video of the accordion jump. I thought it was interesting he bounced the intermediate jump the first time but decided to add a stride the second time through it. Let me know how that is looking and what I should proceed with next.

ParticipantAnd here is another go at proofing the backside.
I’m not sure for the “German turn” which side the dog is supposed to end up on? I always struggle with the fancy names versus thinking about the moves as individual parts. LOL Also, I figure I’m late giving him the end-side information.
Looking forward to your feedback

ParticipantHi Tracy,
We were at a 3-day trial this past weekend so took advantage to have different experiences. Lots of walks around the agility area explored the metal bleachers, and some supervised play with Julie’s niece and nephew. I’ve worked with the kids before and all of the experiences went really well. He even enjoyed the rain (unlike me). They also had confirmation and the venue has a great upper/lower area. We went over for a bit to let him see the different breeds and have some indoor facility experiences as well. He had a great view to watch everything while not having to be in the bustle of it all. Exploring the vendor toys appeared to be his highlight. LOL. Hence we didn’t get back to practice till this week.
Here’s our first try and the starfish.
https://youtu.be/KryECPbjHzEI figured I’d get it started, get some feedback and we will give it another try :).

ParticipantThanks! I’ve really been enjoying the live classes. I’m glad I went for a live slot. 馃檪 It’s great to get immediate feedback and fun to have folks in town going through the class together. I’m looking forward to Max Pup 3. My “little” guy seems to really enjoy all of the games.
He’s fun because he’s curious about life, super affectionate, (has to have his morning hug which happens to be at should height), and funny at home (he loves laying on his back and tossing toys up in the air or pushing them into a big pile to roll in like a bunch of leaves). But get him on the agility field/nose work/whatever and he’s all business. Enter Mr. Serious – it’s all about the work. LOL
I’m glad youtube let me out of jail as well!

ParticipantWith last night’s class, you were able to see where he is with jumping, but I had recorded these two for you to take a look at. One is the straight jumps and one is the diagonal.
Also, it’s been a while since I did just a straight record of a session, so on both of these I just let the camera run so you can see the in-between stuff as well :). Thanks as always for your feedback.

ParticipantYea! I got out of youTube jail. For some reason, they flagged my account as a spammer. So I must be spamming you since this is the only place these videos go. LOL Anyway, I got it cleared up this morning, so I am now able to link to my videos again :).

ParticipantWill do, once I have time to figure out why they threw me in techno jail. LOL
