Welcome Jill! Hopefully all of this trick training will tire out your busy pup!
As far as trick titles, you can post them individually or make a video with a handful or a video with all of them, any option works. I will tell you if the trick is good, but I don’t keep track if you have enough for your title, so if you think you have enough an want to confirm before you submit, that I can happily do. Hope that makes sense 🙂

Louise, I think you are in the right place! I started trick training with one of my dogs to help elevate ring stress and build drive. I myself use many of these tricks prior to runs in class or trials and I think it does help! I also think the time we spend trick training really helps build up this great rate of reinforcement from us as handlers which puts more value in us, which is what we ultimately want when we are asking our dogs to perform at trials where the reinforcement is no longer visible. Really hope you find some of the same success I have!

Welcome Melissa! Glad you have joined!!! I’m looking forward to working with you both! If any of the weeks the tricks are not challenging enough and you want an extra challenge, let me know, I always have ideas to help keep everyone working hard.

Martina I’m glad you are here! Trick training is definitely a great place to start to help build some of that willingness to work. It will be key to keep you sessions short, your rate of reinforcement high and be mindful not to increase the challenges by too much too soon, there should be a ton of success coming out of each session and the way to ensure that is to break tricks down in to really small behaviors. If you need any help with this during this course please let me know.
