ParticipantMingo’s reverse spin. https://youtu.be/U_t6QujLqTI?si=4iXzvAm1XN1tAeRj
We can do so much fancy stuff with the barrels now and I’m so proud of her. She’s also been working hard on her stay. My video from yesterday wasn’t good as she was out of the frame a lot but she used her bank of stay payments for good use today in her lesson with Donna. I’ll try to film again tomorrow while I recharge it!stoodles
ParticipantWe are going to outs bootcamp next! She was sticky tonight too. But in all fairness she just sort of border collie knew how to do it so I’m not sure I taught it clearly. I’ll spend some time reinforcing it!
And look at this big girl rocking horse. I’m big proud. She also did some nice disc work tonight too. She’s such a great flamingo! 🩷🦩

ParticipantThanks! I broke this session off and did a whole round of tug/out for cookies! She was way stickier than usual for whatever reason. I’ll look at the advanced rocking horse now and try it with her after work:)

ParticipantQuick outside run past your toy trial. It was much harder outside so I lowered the criteria and she did well.
Rocking horse, session one. She LOVED THIS. Ignore my wrong verbal in the middle and my late verbal in the beginning and just watch my happy dog! Also, this was the first time she’s struggled with offering out of excitement so that was good to work through. She reminds me of Jubilee here with the bossy barking. 🩷

ParticipantAunt Tracy!!! It’s me, Mingo. I’m sort of back from car chasing bootcamp. My mom needs to figure out where she left off on class homework but I told her she had to show you this!!! I’m so proud of my choices. I guess boot camp is paying off!

ParticipantToy behind today. She did great with the exercise. I did have to control the toy with her leash as the field at dds is too much space for her little brain, but once I did that it was really good. Next time I’m going to try food so I can better play with crosses.

ParticipantFirst turn and burn. She legit read my mind!!!
And don’t mind me running the wrong way on the last set. And I didn’t change the angle even though I’m confident she would have been successful as I was worried our barrel would blow. I took my win and wrapped it up!

ParticipantStanding barrel. She got lost once but then not again! And I don’t think it had anything to do with my position. Onto turn and burn tomorrow!

ParticipantI’d thought I’d uploaded this last week but apparently forgot. She loves this game! Today we’ll start the upgrade from class this week. I’m excited to watch her process through it.

ParticipantMingo blind cross update! I was late, she was great. 🤣 But I did keep my toy tight and run!
We also lost our last retained canine for a total bloodbath.stoodles
ParticipantMingo back up, first time. Her coordination of eating and working with the cookies so close together got messy. Next time I’ll do short cycles, just a couple reps then break to reorganize her mouth!
