Well…. I did get Handling 5 done but I cant upload to you tube using my wifi. Verizon thinks it’s my 5G tower 🙄. Said it would be at least a week before they look into it 😪
Do you have any suggestions on how to upload from my phone. I’m going to try sending the video from my tablet to my phone via email. Then maybe I can get it posted here somehow. Suggestions appreciated.🙂

    Hi there,
Finally have some decent footing. Whew what a storm we had!
This is video of Handling Challenges 4 and Switch aways in the first direction.
This is the whole session edited for time.
I will try to get the other direction done tomorrow.

    Thanks for watching,
    Sundi

    Hi there,
Trying to beat the bad weather here. We got most of the challenges done. The threadle wrap is still pretty hard for us so I did a little practice on the jump and then tried the challenge, had a failure (she sliced the jump instead of wrapping), so tried to make it easier. The wind was getting stronger toward the end of the session, blew all the jumps over so we quit for the day. Will try the next challenge when weather permits, they are forecasting lots of rain here for the next few days.
I still can’t seem to say “get it” as reward marker. I’ll practice that during the bad weather…lol

    Thanks for watching,

    Hi there,
    Verbals Around The Clock
Caught myself on tape saying “nope” a few times and using “yes” instead of “get it”. No cookies for me 🤐

These were kinda hard at first now we need to practice… I want to revist this direction and try the other direction too. Which do you recommend as next step, revisit this direction or change directions ?

    Thanks for watching.

    Hi there,
Hope things are going well !
Had a chance to practice some of the exercises.
    Here are the results.
Video of our Under the dogwalk warmup. This was hard so we spent a lot of time working on the warmup exercises. Never really felt ready for the sequences. We will keep working at it though 😊

We did work on the Discrimination Lines warmup, unfortunately no video because the camera outsmarted me.
This is the video for our first efforts at sequences 1 and 2 from the Discrimination Line Sequences.

Thank you for all your help ! It’s starting to feel like agility.

    Hi there,
Here’s video of Backside Strategies Sequences
Backside wrap was a little awkward feeling on first try, her speed surprised me, lol. Second effort seemed better.
Blind to threadle wrap. Taking your advice and I’m going with a separate verbal, dig dig dig. I’ve had a session to work on it without speed, it’s pretty rough here in the sequence. I will keep working on it without speed so I can add the new verbal. Also, I’m not sure I know what to do with my arm cues to help her(?).
Backside push. This is the move she crashed on last time out so I rewarded her right at the jump on her first effort, she didn’t seem to have any hesitation on it. Yay !!
Blind cross to a threadle slice. She felt pretty comfortable with this, I was so excited about it I only did it once haha

    Thanks for watching,

Yes, the verbals keep coming back to bite me….lol
Promise I’ll add new ones, the crash was a good reminder that clear prep/plan equals better execution.
I audited the recent Got FACE class with Bobbie Bhambree.
I think some of those exercises have helped with her overall experiences too. yay!
How long are we able to post video for feedback in this class. I missed seeing that.

    Hi there,
    Backside Strategies warm up video:
I felt least confident on the threadle wraps so put a couple in out of order to mix it up a bit.
Fritzi had her first crash on a jump, I left it in the video, let me know if you see something I did to cause it. I noticed she rubbed the jump before the crash too so maybe just testing proximity to the wings 😟
    Otherwise, we had fun!

Sounds like Florida UKI is exciting, Competition and the weather. Hope you are having fun and best of luck !

    Hi there, final videos.
We had some terrible heat these last weeks, finally caught a break and got these last excercises done. Thank you for another great class ! What do you suggest for the pups next ?
I’m auditing the FACE class offered and looking forward to some interesting info there. Working spots were gone by the time I signed up, glad there is so much interest.

    Tunnel Yes, No, Go video
A little confusion with dog on right. Got it at the end as I changed my path a little.

    Teeter Plankrobatics video.
Still working on the end behavior 😆

As usual there is some unusual background noise. Party music down the road this time… lol.
Thanks for watching and all your feedback throughout.

    Hi there,
In general I’m not liking my lead outs (dog is fine)… I’m thinking about my sequence plan and turning my back on Fritzi… Should I be looking at her with arm back on the way out? Or is that too much pressure?

Here is the video of the FC sequences. You were right, she seemed to be pretty confident doing these after the previous session. Thanks for encouraging me.

Catching up on some previous exercises here..
    Jumping Foundation: Zig Zag Grid

    Teeter Foundations: Angled Entries
This is long… sorry! I wanted you to see the whole session. Near the end Fritzi seemed distracted (or maybe it was me) by the ground boards when I tried the RC in one direction so I tried without the guides and that was better. Might need to revisit this ?

    Thanks for watching….

    Hi there,
Short video of Lead Out & Big Lines 3
I see on the video that I started the last sequence on the tunnel then on to #1-#6. When I watch the BC #4-#5 I’m running into #5 which looks and feels super awkward. Not sure she needs all that “help”

Lots of angry sheep noises too…lol
Ok…. the forced fronts were hard for us. First efforts were spoiled by my twitching early. So I worked a bit and came back next day working on one jump away from the sequence. I’ve included that whole session here so you can see how its going. Not sure if I should stay on the one jump a bit longer or ?

When is last day for video submission?
    Thanks for watching,

    Hi there,
Here are our efforts at the Lead Out & Big Lines #1 & #2.
We don’t always get it right but we’re having fun. Fritzi seems to be enjoying agility.. yay !

    Hi there,
Here are some of the excercises we’ve been working on. The days are still over 100 degrees and now humidity too. Tried to keep things short.
Wingin it : tunnel entries and exits
These were two sessions with 15 minutes in between. Felt like we were communicating better on second session. (Would that be latent learning on my part… lol)

    Teeter Foundation: bang game
Not sure what to expect for duration on the 2o/2o. When I start to move forward after the 2o/2o she tends to come with me. Should I be working that differently ?

    Concept transfer:lead outs
This is the second session. First one failed to video properly. She is getting tired so I really shortened it up.

    Thanks for watching.
