ParticipantHi there,
I would be using Whistle for the Camp class, he is a dog you haven’t met yet. He just turned 4 years and with minimal trialing, is doing AKC Master level. He is great partner! Kind of a sleeper, not super fast but a great technician and very literal. I think with some good help we could get faster too. (Ah…The challenge !)
Katy was coming back to agility after a 2 year layup/ rehab from a carpal and neck issue when I took your verbals class. I found it was a great way to get back in the game. Unfortunately, the carpal issue came whispering back once I started trialing. So… she is back doing obedience, which I love and she doesn’t think is exciting enough ..ð
Do you think taking both the MaxPup3 with Fritzi and the CAMP with Whistle would work for me (and you of course)?

ParticipantHi there,
This was our first try at the starfish.
There was a missed communication at 1:10 that was totally my fault. I gave her soft turn verbal (late) and she went to tunnel. I let her come around again with a wrap verbal and the tunnel threadle verbal that were more timely and she did great.
She was looking to me a bit before the turnaways especially in the longer sequence. Is there something I need to change ?
Fritzi was happily confident about the tasks… thank you so much for your wonderful class and teachings. Her ability to do these excercises is a direct result of your guidance and feedback.
My running isn’t the best here (I broke a couple ribs a month ago that are taking forever to heal and I’m limping from other old injuries….getting old is a bitch) but…. it seems I need to run better lines too as Fritzi gets more confident. Signed up for the next maxpup 3 class with Fritzi yay ! Wondering if the line running would be helped by taking the Learn Your Dog camp class ? Was thinking of taking it with my 4 year old that you haven’t seen yet.
As always, thanks for watching.

ParticipantHi there,
Handling: Lateral Lead Outs video:
Started out with her about 5 feet from the bar, moved back to about 10 feet. I totally forgot to walk the L line to my lead out spot once I got out to video. (I did remember during a practice session day before and it was helpful). I hadn’t tried the throwback cue since I audited your previous puppy class. It was exciting to see how she remembered that..
Jumping Foundation 5 Accordian video:
What do you see that I should work on or think about ?

ParticipantHi there,
It`s warm out today so I tried to give lots of breaks which means lots of edits. ð
Smiley faced tunnel threadles video:
Felt pretty good. I really tried to get my feet going in the correct direction on the line during threadle which was hard. I think that I really want to walk backwards which of course won’t work when running…lol
There are some sheep distraction on a couple of the left wing wraps but she overcomes the urge…lol
Proofing games- backside challenges video:
When looking at the video I see Fritzi gets confused when I switch up my shoulder rotation to throw toy as she comes over the bar after the backside. I really need to be conscious of my turn from now on. She gets it, but in the next few reps I see she’s uncertain about coming over the bar. What do you think ?
In first video DOR she really picks up steam at 1:45 ish. Toy play got a lot stronger and so did commitment YAY !
In second video DOL we had a little more trouble. Still ok, I thought we might be getting hot and tired.
Overall excited to see the progress !
Thanks for watching, Sundisundiprechtl
ParticipantHi there,
Jumping Foundations 4: Zig Zag pt 2: video
This seemed a good progression for us. I was happy at how much it seemed to make sense for Fritzi compared to the first Zig Zag we did….lol
Handling Game: Rocking Horse Turnaways videos
Good thing we were moving slowly here.
LAP TURN:
Fritzi did great, I got lost a couple of times…lol
TANDEM TURN:
same here… Fritzi – great. Me – lost…. lol
I think I figured it out at the end ??..and we had fun !
Thanks for watching,

ParticipantHi there,
Proofing game: Get out.
I think she did a great job with this. I felt (and looked) better with her on my right which surprised me. Need to practice my footwork, especially w/DOL. On your demo video you were turning so fast for the blind! Can you share some tips for that ? Footwork or ?..
Wind In Your Hair: Mission Transition
In watching the video I see myself stopping on the wraps. Not sure this was correct ? I was trying to avoid rotating too early and apparently can’t do two things at once. Lol…
Also, I tried to keep moving forward more on the go, go, go, and throwing toy earlier, I think more successful in last reps. I’m really excited about Fritzi’s understanding of these excercises.
Thanks for watching.
We’ve been super busy here so now I’m trying to catch up Ugh!
When is the last day we can submit videos?

ParticipantHi there,
Sending video of Concept Transfer : Rear Cross
The RC with Fritzi turning right seemed easier today. A little miscommunication when turning left on the first try, got better as we went along. Overall happy !
Also…. no real distraction problems, the lambs are still there, she could still play with me. Yay !

ParticipantHi there,
Proofing Game 3 : serps and threadles videos.
Stuck with the basics here because we have some major distractions today. BABY LAMBS ! Lots of them !!
Frankly I was amazed she could focus on me at all. She couldn’t even play with her tug toys when we were near the lambs so I used treats which kept her in the game (mostly). Today was the first time she’d seen the new baby lambs and some of them are right next to the agility field. Actually I was really proud of her.

ParticipantHi there,
Here is the Diamond Handling Game
This took some practice for me lol. I kept wanting to do a spin instead of a blind. Still looks to me that I should be turning earlier on the blind…. still feels kinda slow processing the pattern.
Fritzi is really enjoying these games ! I think she responded well even though I was late and her really wide turn at 1:36 was my blooper.
Race track feels more confident for both of us too. Maybe starting to trust each other ð
Thanks for watching.

ParticipantHi there,
Here is Wind In Your Hair: Part 2 rear cross, backside.
Overall pretty excited with her progress on this. Saw some confusion when I switched to backside wrap (haven’t seen that confusion when practicing in earlier sessions), wondering if its related to her better understanding of the rear (which is a newer skill). I think she is learning there are more choices to be made ð ðĪŠ
Jumping Foundations 3: Beginning ladder grid:
Seems like she looks up a bit still. I think I had a late reward delivery to bowl on the ground in first reps which caused her to question the reward placement ??

ParticipantHi there,
Short video of Slice Foundation Zig Zag. We did a couple sessions earlier in the week with two and three standards (no video). This video session with three standards.
Long video of Handling Games: Find The Jump
This was our first try at this. Fritzi seemed to really enjoy the challenge. Yay !
Started with jump approx 12 feet from tunnel and moved it out to approx 15 feet. I could see she was getting mentally or physically tired (or both) so we stopped while it was still fun.
Thank you for watching,

ParticipantHi there,
Serpentine part 3: threadle
I’ve been messing around with this for a week. The dog is fine, I’m the weak link.
Thought I had some good work then I sent you the video of Fritzi’s baby level Serpentine work in the other class and you suggested to bring my arm back and have belly button facing the jump. Hmmm… I probably need to do that with Katy too. So here is my effort to work on that with Katy. Definitely harder with DOR (probably me since it feels really awkward). DOL feels much easier. Sometimes I’m exaggerating and leaning back ðĪĶââïļ Definitely a work in progress!
Thanks for watching. Looking forward to your feedback.

ParticipantHi there,
Fritzi and I haven’t worked in this part of the farm before. She was really distracted at first, got better as we went along… the weather here has been really warm too so I tried to keep it short ð
Left Right Minny Pinny video:
This is new for her so I tried to stick with basic stuff. Looking forward to your comments before we try again.
Sends n Serps videos:
Getting the basics figured out.
Added some wrap, fc discrimination.
Overall I’m super happy with her effort. Seems like her ability to concentrate with her little puppy brain is increasing with these exercises.Sundi

ParticipantHi there,
Thanks for your observations and suggestions on the last excercise, they were really helpful!
Here is a short video of the first 2 sequences of baby level tunnel exits.
At 1:07 I really interfered with my left arm/hand, retried with less arm and at 1:22 had a much better result. Yay !
Overall felt successful!
Thanks, Sundisundiprechtl
ParticipantHi there,
Here is the Proofing Game 1 video
Fritzi seemed to differentiate the verbal cues pretty well.
Had some silly tunnel stuff near the end, I’m thinking just puppy brain. At 1:37 the sheep made an appearance behind me and distracted her a little, then the toy in my left hand distracted her, she recovered well though.
I tried to keep it short and successful since the tunnel was confusing today ð
Thanks for watching !
