ParticipantGreetings!
I will break this up into several posts…

It would have been better to start with the first jump in the correct direction🤦🏼♀️SEQ 3: https://youtu.be/y4vyDoSPkBM
I ran out of time for the 4th sequence…

ParticipantGreetings!
Last weekend we had quite a few moments of good connection. Some weird things happened…like Grady stopping on top of the A-frame surveying his kingdom and people. This was the best run. My intent at jump 6 was to wrap the right wing, FC to the weaves. As you can see in the video, he went around the far wing (perhaps distracted or my position was showing a backside). I didn’t fix anything, just continued on as if nothing happened. I used the opportunity to practice his independent weaves and get ahead for the DW. Even with the error, he was 21 seconds under time. I’m not sure how to attach the course map…I set up the week 5 STD pop outs this morning. Challenging, but fun…

ParticipantGreetings,
It took a little work and a couple of modifications, but week 4 JWW fit into a relatively small space. This video has a walk through and 5 trials…not all done in a row😁
1st trial: No layering, RC before 7, got a backside at 9
2nd trial: switched start line sides, no layering, barely got to BC after tunnel, trouble with the pull wrap.
3rd trial: layered #2 while dog in weaves, more time for BC after tunnel…he went to treat bag on the drinking fountain
4th trial: pull wrap at #15
5th trial: push slice at #15 (this was easier for us…)susanrobinson
ParticipantGreetings!
Downloads in the campground are super slow this evening! These three videos are the week 4 live sequences. After watching them, I wonder why my arms are so high on the walk throughs with my invisible dog. Also, I’m thinking about changing my verbal for backside wrap to push instead of “ah nanana” (too hard to say).
There are some bloopers…Grady did a lovely pull backside wrap on the right wing. By the last sequence he seemed a bit tired. Fun sequences! Grady was quite vocal during this practice session😁

ParticipantThank you!
By the way, several people asked me what I was doing with Grady to speed him up so much. I told them about several of your courses😁susanrobinson
ParticipantGrady also demonstrated his extreme love of the dog walk on Saturday. He had a gorgeous run with lots of layering until he exited #20 weave poles after wrapping the 4th pole because he was sure that he should take the dog walk next. There were many groans from everyone, but Grady thought that he was brilliant:-)
No video, just the course map…I had to turn it into a video to post…While taping the critical connection point sequences, I didn’t bring a crate into the training facility and worked on Grady’s stays. So, the “running” of the sequences without the dog wasn’t very fast. The tunnel was set up in a convenient spot to start the sequences.

Sequence 4:
The running without the dog video disappeared or didn’t get recorded. It seemed hard to get much momentum in this sequence…
I have been working on my verbals and will post some of those later this week. It still feels like a backside/push 360 wrap is more difficult for me (Grady?) than others. Still needs practice

ParticipantGreetings,
I have a lot of videos to load, but thought I would begin with a NADAC Elite Regular round from yesterday. Grady had the fastest time 38 seconds of all dogs in round 1…it was a long course! In round 2, a BC jumping 12” ran it in 36 seconds. What a good boy! I think I got commands out earlier…I will post some of the connection videos later tonight.

ParticipantGreetings! The past two weeks have been busy trying to get my mom out of the hospital and back in her memory care facility…too complicated! She has been out for a week and is doing okay…just wearing out at 89 years old.
I showed at the local NADAC trial and we had great success…2 gamblers Qs one at 18 seconds, with the second run 17 seconds (I was deliberately trying to not be greedy),2 jumpers Qs, 4 other Qs, pretty fast times!
It seemed to be too hard to set up the standard and jumpers courses in the space available, so Carol and I set up the pop out skills. Another late night at the training facility…
I mistakenly labeled my videos week 2 live-LOL
I also set up some of the Week 3 live courses on Tuesday (the weaves were in the video for something else and I left them there…).
More left to do with these sequences…

ParticipantFrom the chiropractor note it appears that she adjusted:
T9 PR
T10 PL
T12 PR
L3 PR
R Cr humeral head
I assume that PR is posterior right, etcWe are fortunate to have a massage therapist, chiropractor (she runs whippets), and canine rehab specialist (she is also a human PT and runs Elkhounds), and I am a human PT at most local trials.

ParticipantGrady got a massage and visited the chiropractor at the trial later that afternoon…she did a few adjustments in his thoracic spine😁
I’ll try to set up the send to 3 4 5 with layering again.
Too hot here this week for live training outside. It is supposed to be 103😳

ParticipantThank you for the feedback…I was really blaming John for the teeter, but it certainly could have been the view of the crowd! John and his wife Ida run papillons and also have 4pawsembroidery. John has not been running lately due to knee pain. I did mention to Carol that I thought that John is definitely too close on purpose sometimes (she agreed). There was a contest to see who could work the most at the trial.
Jumpers 2:
Here is an ugly weave performance…someone thought there was a bitch in season at this trial. John is also in this video🤣
susanrobinson
ParticipantSorry, I’m not sure how all of this submitted twice😁

ParticipantGreetings! I hope you had a good travel day today!
I have several videos from a recent trial. The first video is T2B (first run on Friday). He started fast and had a 29 second run. Somehow, I pulled him off the jump following the first A-frame.
Grady became increasingly uncomfortable with the teeter as the weekend progressed. This is Saturday’s FAST run (79 points, 3rd place). The teeter didn’t seem to be an issue.
T2B on Sunday was a different story with the teeter…
I’m not sure if he is looking at John, the leash runner in the yellow shirt. He was the leash runner for most of our runs. This is STD on Sunday…the judge was adamant that we were ready to start early. I had Grady’s leash off when the judge and John decided that the teeter needed adjusting…we played…1 short clip of delay and then the teeter performance…
I need to work turns off the dog walk at the end of a course😁
Week 2 STD Course 1…basically a late night building the course and practice. It didn’t fit as well as last week.
