ParticipantFirst, I love your attitude. It makes me smile. Second, the zigzag 2 jump video is the three jump video. Could you post the 2 jump please. TIA

ParticipantSpent several days last week in Fairbanks at a Tanner Dugan Seminar, then two days of UKI. Using what I learned from you in this course, your seminars and confirmed by Tanner we had some amazing runs. Including, two where we came in first with our fastest YPS ever. I cannot thank-you enough! Now to get back to my class here!

ParticipantMakes perfect sense
Although I am getting wrapped around the wheel when I think of how to handle how to handle take off side threadles. Would I use my tight right verbal with my threadle hand up and keep it up as I run the line?
I arrested to draw an example of my question but could not

ParticipantLayering version 2
Wrap 1, send 2 and 3
First try:
Knocks bar, think it was because of slippery ground.at .40 she runs past jump 3, thinking it was because the jump was not in her natural path I moved 3 out thinking it would be easier. that did not work so I decided the allure of the toy was too much and moved the toy to draw her over jump 3. it worked.
wrap 1 send 2, 3, 4
First time
don’t get it mom! what could I have done to make it clearer that it was Jump, not tunnel.
first time tunnel then – I held on to it and with some spinning she got it.
better but she still wanted the tunnel, not enough support? how is timing on the “get it?” Also, is it one go per jump?wrap with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
at .21 -.23 does not seem to be driving to number 5.
attempted to do some “behind my back drop toss” with mixed success. Will I need to keep my arm up on layering or will I be able to have it be lower as time goes on? Finally threw in a balance tunnel and she got that and did the final “ask” (layering) well.threadle wrap with layer
how ugly can it get – pretty ugly when one does not stick to the two mistake rule

ParticipantSorry about so many in one thread. I know this is not really a cool thing to do but I am trying like mad to catch up while I still have access to you. Looking forward to feedback and giving these another go!
p2 j1
Me figuring out where to be and what I am doing.
After figuring out where I am supposed to be, I am on the right side of the tunnel.p2 j2
operator malfunction! again remember the purpose of the exercise. I seem to get so caught up in her “doing” the thing – that I forget what we are working on – layering!
is this really about layering 🙂
teach this lady how to toss a toy!Balance
P2 J3
She needs motion to get those jumps.pkg 2 j5
Threadle? We don’t have no stinking verbal threadle. Just how does one teach a threadle?p2 j/tun discrimination.
About as close as we come to meeting criteria this time around

ParticipantI am uploading the layering exercises. We have no threadle understanding no do I know how to teach it. It was pretty much an in my face moment of a huge hole in our skills.

ParticipantHELP! I do not know where to jump in. I finally made it home and am trying to figure out where and what to do.
Maggie is working on her verbals for turns and pushes but she does not have them yet. should I go back and work on those? send you a video of us working on those? work my way through the packages in order? jump in at package 4? I need some direction please.

ParticipantDid you ever provide your verbal list

ParticipantBreak hand video is very helpful. one more question – my Threadle cue is the hand/arm opposite the dog across my body, will a break hand muddy that cue?
teamtoller
Participantthree things:
first, I think I understand the break arm but have never used it. How do I train it?Second, your sesame street thought about jumps (O, C, L) makes sense but that about those jumps that are not clear, for example on skill set 4, on jump 4 rather than going to 5, what if I had been going to the unnumbered pin wheel jump. I need a decell over 4.but it is more of a C turn than an L turn.
Finally on a pinwheel, what is the verbal?

Participantthe comment under p1 sk 4 is the same as under #3. Is it intended to be the same comment? Same issues for me to work on.

Participantp1 sk 4
had fun playing with the when and where of the decell

ParticipantPackage 1 skill 3
first try reconnect over jump 4 seemed late and caused a long jump???
liked the last one the best. how much of the “improvement” is due to patterning versus how I adapt?

ParticipantWe rented a field today and I was able to go back and work on the first and second skill sequences. I really liked that she was super quick to respond to a “right”. Learned a lot about her responsiveness and her commitment point. looking forward to hearing what you see this time around.

Participantour package one skills 1 and 2. I really need to pay attention to my rights and lefts. I was telling her “rriigghhtt” when I wanted a “leefftt.” Good thing she did not pay attention to my verbals. I did not see where to post my videos so here it is. if this is incorrect please let me know.
