ParticipantThat’s great Tracy! Will get some video of Huey and forward it. The other dogs thought I was crazy lol. They were pretty good at it as well but the crazier I got they did jump up on me like “ hey what’s going on?” Lol and they tried to keep pace with my jumping ( should of had a skipping rope, could have taught a new trick lol. I will keep doing it with them til they realize it is normal but will work up the craziness in steps. I did remember to reward even if it looked like their hind legs thought about sitting. Cheers

ParticipantHuey arousal and verbals. Apologies for the barking. I thought it wouldn’t be as loud due to distance from camera but not so. I made sure you would be able to hear
Me ask for a sit. Of all my dogs, he is the best at this which really surprised me:)July 26, 2021 at 1:51 pm in reply to: Bob on teeter, tunnel, one sequence and Pete one sequence #24480Troye Kyte
ParticipantAhh, good point! Yes it defo would mean get the toy. Good catch! Will defo change the word I use for treats and actually ‘snacks’ is a good one! No trials coming up soon but I can defo take him out and about and practice this for sure! Thanks once again for the awesome feedback! He is 20 months old now.

ParticipantHi Tracy, this is my young dog Huey. He did really well with week 2 trial transition, acclimating to environment. I edited to where I had added a tug toy but worked through this right from the beginning with standing still. I think he did a pretty Fab job for first
Time. Will keep working on this. Both Bob and Pete did well with this also!July 12, 2021 at 11:45 am in reply to: Bob on teeter, tunnel, one sequence and Pete one sequence #23804Troye Kyte
ParticipantThank you Tracy!! I will go back and look more closely at where my eyes go. That’s awesome!! I was really pleased with both of them and I will work on what you said above. Thank you so much!! I am loving this course! You are right, there is a lot to do but I am not getting overwhelmed. Just going to plug away at it. Cheers, Troye

ParticipantBob first jumpers course. First attempt and he hasn’t seen weave poles since last summer. Also, I forgot and had him jump jump 12 before 6. Both Bob and Pete are from week one jumpers course.
Pete, first jumpers course. I left out the weaves for him. I have to work more on his independence from me I think.

ParticipantThanks Tracy!! Awesome feedback! After watching the videos I started working some foundations of two on two off again with them. I will keep working on that and some games for independence. Pete defo has more of an umbilical cord to me lol. The videos have the sound edited out but I will leave the sound on next time. I have always felt so self conscious and feel like I don’t know what I am doing that I have only competed one time with each dog. My former
Coach was so critical of me that I felt stupid. She used to say in front of the entire class “ 9 years of university and you have no idea what you are doing”.Bob is 8 and Pete is 7 and I feel that I let them down. Your critique has given me some confidence again. ( to be honest I was so worried about sending any video lol). Thanks again!! Cheers, Troye -
