ParticipantHi there! Here are my latest videos.
Mini Pinny:
I was pretty happy with this one. I didn’t add verbals yet because I haven’t decided on the words to use. I’m using “right right” and “left left” for his tight turn verbals.
Rocking Horses Part 2:
There was no method to my madness here, and I forgot about the verbals until halfway through my session, lol (and of course, didn’t always get them right.) Finally, in the words of my friend, Brenda, I look like I’m “tiptoeing through the tulips” instead of running. I couldn’t quite get the mechanics of throwing in a 360 either. Watch for silly blooper at the end.
Serpentines:
He was thinking hard on this one, so I decided not to add any difficulty yet.

ParticipantBending with bars:
I think I understand what you mean about the set point. I’ll get some video later today.

ParticipantThe cross bars can be opened up a little so he has more like a 6 foot distance to the first bar – you can take a wingless jump and use those uprights to get the cross bars a little further away.
I’m not sure I understand what you mean here.

ParticipantHa ha! Brenda and I will have NO PROBLEM bringing out the wine. He is so goofy, I will probably have a great blooper reel by the end of this course. I love the rocking horse game, and I can see how it will apply to so many scenarios. Will try to include it in most training sessions. And throwing the reward back makes perfect sense. On the tunnel game, I was trying to think about too many things and I forgot about the magic box. Will do better next time. Thanks for the feedback. This is so much fun.

ParticipantHere are my first attempts at Rocking Horse, Tunnel Commitment and Lazy Handling.

ParticipantRobie loves tunnels. We have worked on both a “go” and a tight turn out of tunnels using the “magic box” idea. We have also started working on a tunnel bypass cue.
