ParticipantI hid this in the replies above so just reposting on its own thread…. decel & turn: Here we are in the back yard. I underestimated how hard it is to show some accel then decel haha. (Ah well he should get used to me having terrible timing now). I think he coped really well given it was blowing so hard and i freaked him out a little when i moved the seesaw (teeter) out the way. I tried to make sure I worked both sides.

ParticipantPuppy send and gos. Honestly he’s just a ridiculous baby. haha. I started out using food but he was not super jazzed by that so switched to a toy. After watching the video I didn’t do as bad as I thought I had done. But that last rep where he was just staring at my finger hehe.

ParticipantYay. I’ll take him out to the back yard – Although there’s a howling westerly today – so you won’t hear anything over the wind noise on the video haha

ParticipantWe would have loved to have had you permanently – stupid immigration rules. Hopefully when the world is not quite so topsy turvy, we can have you out again. (I use “tits to the target” all the time when I’m teaching at club heheheheh)

ParticipantFocus forward. This was so much better (cookies were on the table). At the start, for some reason I kept waiting for him to bring the toy back, he doesn’t really know retrieve so not sure what I was doing haha. I started adding my motion and it was going really well until i threw the toy sort of under the tent. I finished on a rep where I didn’t “race” him to the toy to take the pressure off.

ParticipantDecel and turn game! This was a two-fer as well because the environment is a little different too (the clubrooms have a tent open to dry out in) It was our show the other weekend. So adding in a little novelty in the environment. This was fun. 🙂

ParticipantAh thanks Tracy. And to think I was worried that he wouldn’t be foodie (just because he doesn’t inhale food like his siblings). hehehe.
It was you who said to me, in a field in Napier, poodles are pigs. And it has stuck with me. heheLiz Barlow
ParticipantHere i am playing the focus forward game. I … once again… need to set my timer. I sped up the bits where I’m tugging with him. Let me know if that’s ok. It goes pear-shaped at the end and I realised watching back that he was probably tired.
