[AU-031] Learn Your Dog CAMP: Course Analysis For Maximum Performance! (2021 Edition)

Join us for the 2021 edition of CAMP! This 9th annual CAMP will streamline your handling skills to keep up with the evolving challenges of the sport while helping our next generation transition to trialing!

Raise your game while developing your handling and teamwork, with our traditional coursework challenges PLUS special skill sets and the amazing new Transition To Trials track!

The 2021 edition of CAMP will feature:

  • 10 week CAMP format, with assignment packages posted every 2 weeks (total of 5 assignment packages). Extra time to allow for extra fun!
  • NEW THIS YEAR: Transition To Trials training and support! We will work on skills and games to prepare for trialing, and provide support as you step into the ring:
    • Games included in your training package
    • Live online meetups for planning and feedback
    • In-the-moment access to individualized ideas, feedback and suggestions when you are at events
    • And more!
  • 3 sets of drills in each assignment package:
    • Full Course Work: Master the challenges you’ll find on a full-sized course – jumpers and standard! Each assignment will have 3 full courses to tackle for BOTH a jumpers course (jumps and tunnels) and a standard course (jumps, tunnels, contacts, weaves). 6 courses to play with!
    • Sequences For Success: Shorter sequences for smaller spaces, based on the challenges we are exploring in the Full Course Work! The themes will be the same as the full courses but these sequences will fit into smaller areas, and will also feature a variety of challenges.
    • Skills Sets: Training the dog is just as critical as handling the dog! Each assignment will also include skills sets and training games to help hone the focus areas as well as teach them to the less experienced dogs.
    • Transition To Trials! All dogs can benefit from learning how to excel in the trial environment! This is especially important for the younger generation of “pandemic puppies” but also for the Masters dogs that are returning to the ring or prepping for big events.

All CAMPers will have access to ALL of the courses, sequences and skills sets! This means you will get ALL of the info to help you fill any foundation holes, build your skills and plan for the future!

Be READY to step the line during the summer, fall and beyond! Sharpen your Masters dog’s skills, start your young dog’s trial career, prepare for big events, and everything in between! Streamline your handling system and improve your communication with your dog. Are you ready to raise your game and explore the fastest and most efficient ways to get your dog around the course? CAMP 2021 will take you to the next level and prepare you to step to the line with your partner!
