Car feels like it’s bouncing down the road, where do I even start?

My car has started feeling like it’s bouncing down the road, especially over uneven surfaces, and the steering feels vague at higher speeds. It’s not undriveable but it’s uncomfortable and honestly a bit unsettling, especially on the highway. I’m not sure whether this is shocks, springs, bushings or something else entirely, and I don’t want to start replacing parts blindly.
