Is there a simple way to monitor Instagram follows?

When you follow several hundred accounts on Instagram, it becomes almost impossible to remember who you recently followed. I sometimes discover that I’m following accounts I don’t even remember adding, which makes cleaning up my following list rather difficult. I’d like to find a simple way to keep an eye on new follows and understand how my following list changes over time. How do other people manage this without manually checking every profile?

Instagram does that on purpose to keep you scrolling longer. There is no setting to fix it. But yeah there is a tool. I use a site where you can see latest followers instagram and following in the right order. Just type in any public username and it shows you who they followed most recently right at the top. No login, no scrolling through hundreds of old accounts. Takes five seconds. I check it once a week for competitor research and it saves me so much time. Way better than fighting with the Instagram app.
