I’m posting on behalf of LED Door Sills. A useful distinction when choosing illuminated car scuff plates is where the light appears. Our Stainless line lights the top design and side edges; Matte PRO lights the top lettering or logo only. Both use a stainless-steel upper plate, so a painted appearance does not mean the top is plastic. Examples are at https://leddoorsills.com/. Compare the lighting pattern as well as the finish when deciding which look you prefer.
