ParticipantHi Tracy,
This will be my last submission for Maxpup 1. It’s been so fun!
Torch and I are looking forward to Max pup 2!
Countermotion serps went pretty well.
Decel went well too!

ParticipantSorry for the video overload. I’ve been a slacker about uploading videos.

Tunnel rocking horse was interesting. I started on her stronger turning side but she kept cutting behind me. She was fine the other direction. Thinking maybe she was going for the toy I hid it and she got it right. Not sure if that’s what it was original was doing something else different……

ParticipantToday we worked Threadles to tunnels and barrels.
To tunnel. The moment I realized I was using the wrong verbal lol!
Barrel games.

ParticipantThis morning we ventured to a new place – Fleischmann Field!
Trained with Bella and Chaser. She worked really well in the new environment. We played Shpile. I must tell you I giggled every time you said Shpile in the video lol! Torch was tentative at first but gained confidence pretty quickly. She did decide she’d rather go back to the Shpile than tug after the recall. We are struggling going from food to toy at times.
This was our first time doing strike a pose threadle.
I don’t know if my darn feet are doing the right thing. Should they be facing the reinforcement cone?Donna Schmidt
ParticipantFunny, I have no idea what the beeping was. I didn’t hear it. Must have been concentrating very hard – lol!
Side-swiping the hand target – How do I judge that? Do I consider she is coming in as long as she goes through the stanchions? Or should she still be coming close to the target?
Donna Schmidt
ParticipantOur first attempt at rocking horse. I discovered she can turn much better to the right than the left. Not sure if it’s from obedience where she’s more comfy on my left, if it’s just her stronger turn direction or something I’m doing. Going forward should I do more reps on her weaker side or keep it even?
Rotated sends. Thought this went well.
Strike a pose 2
Looking forward to your feedback!

ParticipantGood stuff going on today.
Started combo games. Only got to the go. Many more distractions going on at the training facility. I also need to build more distance to the cone.
Shaping going thru stanchions was fun!
Tunnels are also always a good time.
Lap and tandem turns. Watching the video I see I’m stopping after the turn. I need to keep moving forward right?
Donna Schmidt
ParticipantMy feet! Of course! Smart puppy!
Strike a pose was fun. Took me a few reps to figure out the treat/target/treat mechanics.
Tunnels games. I edited out a lot of the tugging to keep the time down but had to leave in the bloopers portion of the game 😂
Donna Schmidt
ParticipantNot sure why the videos went thru as private. I made them public.
Let me know if you have issues watching and if I need to resend.Donna Schmidt
ParticipantCollect sandwich. I was so late on one of these blinds. Four months old and saving my ass already 😂😂
Turn and burn was a lot of fun!
Novel exciting was interesting. She only noticed the object going in one direction.
RC was a but of a struggle. This was our first time and I edited for you cuz we spent a lot of time finding the tossed cookie. Lucky for me Tina was in the building and gave us some cheese balls. SO much easier to find!
