I feel like I should say YIKES! Jww course 1 was hard!
Other than the In on jump 2 baby dog did pretty well.

I definitely needed to run more aggressively in the opening as there were questions from Wish. The first run is in two parts. The taper stopped filming when I had to redo the A frame contact.
The opening went better with take two. I lost her on the teeter. Josie was on the other side of the ring gating and it was too much for her to keep it together.

I obviously didn’t learn my lesson on the opening since I did the same thing to Charm! It was better on the second run. I struggled with her from the A frame to the tunnel. I did a short clip of trying to clean that up at the end of the run. I’m thinking I was on her line? I’m sure you’ll let me know 🙃

Tough spot was the 180 in front of the tunnel. I was late, I was early, then I split the difference and had success.
I tried a spin but she read it as a rc. I get that a lot so rarely do them.

Charm got a little stuck on the tunnel layer. Not sure what I did since it wasn’t an issue in the first course. I liked the German turn better than the In once I trusted her and didn’t hover.

These courses were fun and we had some good stuff going on.

Serps! Loved the progression starting with 1 jump, then moving to 2. Then slowly opening up the jumps when adding in the tunnel. It really helped her understanding. I forgot to move the tripod when I moved to the tunnel part. Duh! But did remember before I did the last couple of reps. I’m guessing she dropped the bar near the end since I gave her no tunnel break cue and she realized she had to turn too late. Worked much better with the tunnel break ‘whoa’.
Next time I work these I need to use some verbals.

I thought it went really well. Then came the line to the weaves!
Charm said you must mean the tunnel. As Christine giggles 🤭
We struggle with this entry and I have been working it with wires.
Only other thing I saw was I needed more go verbals on the end line.

Spins in general confuse me. My body just doesn’t want to turn like that but I think I got it done,

Double blinds are ridiculously hard. I was so late. Poor Wish. She’s such a trooper!

We had some struggles with commitment here.

Straight lines went well. I used a wing before the tunnel. I was being lazy since the tunnel was already set up😆

I was way too quiet on wingin it. When I started using my dig dig things got better😀
I gotta admit I was shocked the racetrack went so well. Guess all these games are paying off 😂😂 it’s nice to see she’s not just patterning.

Good idea putting a leash down. I’ll have to see if that helps my brain lol!

I’m using ME for my verbal for turn away from me and take the backside but it isn’t strong so I wind up doing the pull away and tandem thing. It’s obviously confusing to her. Definitely need to work that skill. I find it’s a great option in many AKC premier courses.

I was super excited about course 2 and getting it done (not perfect but it felt really good). It was hot and she was getting tired so I didn’t want to repeat any of it.

I Think I was on time once or twice lol!
I’m really struggling to get that tunnel break cue out. Not sure why that one is so hard for me.

I really liked these courses. I loved how the opening on course 1 worked. We definitely had some struggles after that.

A great example of how important a timely tunnel break cue is😀

Our last Maxpup2 video submission🙃 We worked tunnel close and backsides. It was so great seeing you and the seminars I attended were amazing! I’m really looking forward to Maxpup3 and working the Maxpup2 games until we start back up.

Our first attempt at lap and tandem turns. Watching the video I think I waited too long before moving my hand since she was practically touching it. I struggled with the mechanics at times and wound up doing so many front crosses before I could figure out what I needed to do lol! Looking forward to your feedback before we try again.

Zig zag part 2. I need to move faster. I was so late……
