ParticipantHere is Goat tricks 1 (First session): https://youtu.be/-Gc0a6oOc0A.
I think it went well other than him knocking his prop onto his head and then slipping–I will stay further from the carpet’s edge next session. ๐katgor66
ParticipantSo I started working on the blind cross outdoors because I thought it would be easier running; however, when I threw the treat, he glanced, did not see it, and just went after the toy–I did not have time to get ahead. After a couple tries, we moved indoors. I considered throwing a second toy, but thought getting the basic idea first made sense–thoughts?
Next, I chose a longer toy, but it seemed to make it harder controlling his behavior around the toy and it made it harder for me to control the toy. I am thinking of going to a smaller toy–thoughts? Good idea or work through it?
Here is the video (indoors): https://youtu.be/z5ki5KNt2UU.

ParticipantHere is the wing exercise standing: https://youtu.be/W9rtDFqqo6c. I hope I am not giving too much thinking time, but it did seem like he was thinking and not frustrated–although he did need to zoom a bit after.

ParticipantI have tried to incorporate your comments in this video: https://youtu.be/JuyohWva1RY.
I forgot to do the scatter on camera, but when I was at the camera, I did do it and it clearly helped him lower is arousal and settle–yay! I will try and train myself to do it more promptly.
I think I was able to switch from food to toy much more smoothly.
The yoga mat worked better, although not perfectly, poor fellow! We’ll take it outside later.

ParticipantHere is my video for the prop game 1: https://youtu.be/JuyohWva1RY.
I am having trouble finding something that does not slide. I can try outside in the morning, but . . . there are deer tonight.
I brought the toy in midway, but felt it was over-arousing him; I’m interested if you agree with the decision.
On one he failed to go. Did I wait too long to reset?
Thank you!

ParticipantThe link seems wonky so I’m reposting the same one as above: https://youtu.be/tPUYy13-G94.

ParticipantThank you!
I redid some of the exercises trying to use a lower treat hand by my knees. I then added running to the toy game. I have a marker: “take it” that he knows already; I just wasn’t using it because I was thinking about too many other things๐–I used it here (once imperfectly, but the second one got out of my mouth right). I also added a treat trade with mixed results. For a bonus, we added a collision into my tripod and me out of enthusiasm!!!

ParticipantHere are the other drive to handler exercises–I put them together because I saw other were: https://youtu.be/JMYgWQYKOm0. Let me know which way is better for you. ๐

ParticipantI had to go out of town this weekend and its been crazy, but I just had time to check. It looks like my links are working!! I will be able to get started first thing Monday. Thank you!
katgor66
ParticipantThat was one of them.

ParticipantIt was the link to view the session from last night–I also ran into it on any of the earlier videos that shoe on your page. I was only able to access them by clicking a second link that opened a ‘page” containing a link that did work.

ParticipantHi Tracy, when I click the link it asks me to sign in to prove I’m not a bot. I have no earthly idea where it wants me to sign in???–I am signed in to your site and I am signed in to Youtube.
I was able to watch your earlier material by going to the other link that opened a page with a link in it.
