Today we played with the Tandem/lap Turns. The first rep we were both out of sorts but then it got better from there.

We worked on some serpentines today. I was pleased with this. Will need to keep building.

He did have a few questions on the 3 wing ladder drill. But we worked them out quickly.
Tonight we worked on The lazy Game contact end behavior and backing up onto a slightly dropping teeter. He thought these games were fun.

We gave the 3 ladder drill a try. Video here is short because for some reason my camera decided to atop recording in the middle of training and so I missed a section. We did do all of these on each side. Here is what I got on video.

We have been out of town for the past week visiting my mom and doing 3 days of Desiree Snellmen in NJ. It was an awesome seminar got to work all three kids.
Tonight we braved the heat for a very short session on week 4 Double crosses. These are so hard for me. I was the best timing wise with DancR (makes sense she is my primary agility dog right now). I struggled with finding the timing with StrykRs current commitment levels. I varied between front/blind and Blind/blind. I found the front/blind easier with all three dogs.
We will def need to continue to work on this.

I will try to work on your suggestions with the rears. I find that I have become terrible at the mechanics of them and while I see what your suggesting, I’ve been finding it difficult to get my mechanics and timing down. Thus why I wish I had a better verbal understanding with him so my me hanics were not so important.

We went to a friends field and worked on a different teeter today. Very happy with this.

I also did some work with the wobble board.

We worked on more motion with the teeter. I was very happy with his confidence. I will see if I can get on a different teeter at the training building. But that might be hard. Everyone around here has Mark’s Clip &go teeter. Lol

We also tried the rear cross drill. This did not go as well especially on the one side where he had to turn left. Gonna need some thoughts on this.

Its been a rough week. What I thought was jet lag turned into severe illness and I ended up spending the day in the ER Monday. I have been unable to work or train all week. I took a little time tonight and did some contact work.
    Plank Work

Teeter This is the first time I attempted this game.

We added speed. Interestingly he kept missing the tunnel entrance when having to switch from left to right lead.

Just got back from 3 days 2 international seminar and one IUKI trial in NJ with Shane Miller. He designed tough real European open style sequences where we had to RUN and trust our verbals at speed! I loved every minute of it. Wow was I challenged in a good way.
Anyway poor StrykR did not get any training so he was very happy to try the Tunnel Threadle Smiley Face tonight.

We worked on the Rear Cross drill. I do feel that maybe I should go back to some more of one of the precious rear cross drills.
