We worked on Threadle Tunnel. I started out using some arm and body motion. Then started to fad the arm movement and do only a slight lean. When watching the video, I realized I did not do the verbal the way I intended. Instead on one slow “In”, I meant to do a Short “In,In”. Sigh

I don’t know why I’m struggling so much to decide on a backside verbal for him. I have most od my others verbals solidified in my mind. I have ideas but am not set on any of them. And I am worried it will be hard for me to break out of “La,la and Na,na” because thos are whatI use for both RydR Nd DancR

I will do some more sessions with the feedback above. Thx. We also worked on the Backside drill. I did do both sides but only realized the camera was not on for the other side. So here is what we got. I do like how he thinks through things and deals well with frustration.

Some of the work we have been doing. I have been fostering toy play just not using it for when we are working skills. Here is his retrieve so far.

Working on Strike a Pose 3, I realized then when balancing value and having him take the front side of the jump I did not stay by the stantion but was in the middle of the bar.

Tight Turns 360 work. He is definitely better going one direction.

StrykR and I did our first round with the new delayed cookies game. I was very happy with his first attempt at this. He really liked this game.

I am not ready to add the threadle verbal yet as I don’t think he has the commitment to the tunnel yet that I am looking for. But when I do it will be “Heeerre”.

    Some sessions from today.

We took tunnel training on the road. I took StrykR to my friends barn. Very happy with this!

I know finding small high value treats is hard for our little dogs. Have you tried, these are tiny tiny. Although they don’t look it in the picture’s.

We spent some more time doing some Combo Handling. As we have done this before I had really hoped it would go better. I got a little frustrated as you will see. I know I have to work the dog in front of me, but realized we need more foundation work still before I can try to put so many pieces together.

Yes the session I posted with the tunnel was his first time doing it. So we will add some of your suggestions and keep going.
Here is our work on Tandem Turns.

    Then Rear on flat work.

    And Finally Beg Stay work.

We worked on introduction to the tunnel. I’ve had to work hard on getting him not to be afraid of the MM, but we overcame it. So we used it for this. With kibble in there its not as high value as the beef I usually use.
I let him process through some things and included some for your suggestions.

Been struggling a little getting training time in. I finally got in the right frame of mind to do a few things tonight. I am struggling with him being very focused on my and where the food is coming from. Just keeps wanting to look up obviously my timing. This is definitely going to be a work in progress. On the rear crosses with the prop I struggled a lot with my mechanics.

ViktoR definitely has the same frustration bark as his brother StrykR! While I was watching StrykR wanted to know where that bark was coming from and kept trying to look at my Ipad

So our work on the sending skill is not going so well.
I had started with the yoga block in the trailer but quickly decided it was too tall for this purpose. I switched to a small pillow. I’m struggling with keeping him from being to focused on my hand. We are struggling with this one.
