Hi! We tried out the tandem turns today. I realize after watching back, I was way too far away from the wing and too late calling her. Once I started sending her closer to the wing and running straight to the other wing it felt better.

Hi! Today we did the other side of lead outs and some tunnel go to tight turns. She goes perfectly ahead for a bye wrap but whenever it’s a way wrap she pulls in front of me out of the tunnel or spins. Am I slowing down too much?

Thank you! That is all reassuring to hear. Today we took a break on tunnels and did the lead out game. It went well!

Hi! We did some practice with the tunnels and teeters. When practicing with the teeter, I backed her up to the end of the tunnel exit and told her break she understood I wanted her to go teeter. When I added the tunnel and said go, she immediately peeled in front of me. I feel like now she thinks go means go straight, but I chase ball immediately after. We added in two balls with the tunnel where I held onto mine and Kyla threw it to her and then she chased my ball after that. She’s becoming very very reliant on the ball, she’s now starting to spit out treats if ball is out. In the outside tunnel videos, she seems very frantic moving. Or is it me that’s making her move like that? She had a few tumbles in the tunnel, which she’s never done before. Is this just her getting used to grass?

Thank you for reading my novel, lol!

Hi! We did the double crosses game, the double blind went good but the front to glide was harder for me, especially of the left side! I think I’m too late? I also noticed I’m not looking back at her.

    The bang game

Serpentines: we did do all the sequences for this but only this one would download for some reason.

Hi! Thank you, I will definitely try that. Today we worked on some more Wingin’ it games.

Hi! I agree, it definitely went down too far.

We did some of the wingin’ it games. I’m going to work on starting my transitions even earlier. A few times I made the mistake of trying to start a blind and run and she was like where are you going?!

Hi! I seen your response after we did this teeter session, so next time I will make sure to stick close! There was a private going on in the front of the building during this, which was fun distraction training. She didn’t mind at all.

She seems to be doing really well. The hardest part has been trying to get her to rest, she just wants to run and play with the other dogs. Which, I am happy she wants to do!

    Hi Tracy,

Today we had a terrible accident and Sól was hit by a car. We rushed her to the vet and had exams and multiple X-rays done and by some miracle, they think she is okay. There is no bleeding, swelling, bruising fractures etc. She is walking, drinking and eating normally. She is home now with pain medication and seems to be her spunky self. They said they believe she should be back to normal in about a week. I will be going back next week and doing X-rays again just to make sure nothing has changed and taking her to the chiropractor. When we return we will be taking it very easy. Just wanted to let you know.

Hi! Today we just did some targets with a small lid on the tippy board, she seemed to really understand it! She even did it the opposite way and waited while I was getting more treats, lol! We also did some turning around on a flat plank.

Ok! That sounds like a plan!

Today we tried the counter motion game, it definitely hurts the brain, lol.

Also did the plank again and added a wing. She seems focused on me coming across the plank, is this something we want to change or is it ok for now?

Hi! We tried that today. We slowly faded Kyla out.

I also tried the straight line four ways. Left side tight turn was good. Right side is tricky, however I don’t believe I was looking at her and my timing was horrible. Kyla threw the toy for her for turning and seemed to help. Backside went okay after I actually started looking at her and got the timing right.
