Star Fish Game: This was fun! We started out just doing the tandem turns from the tunnel. In the beginning she wanted to just wrap the jump. However, I think it’s because I was running too fast. Once I slowed down she was able to read my cue. We had one disconnect on the left turn to the tunnel because I didn’t get there fast enough. Should I start using a treadle cue now?

Backside Challenge: We had some good moments here! She was great until I moved past the middle of the bar and then she was unsure of where she was supposed to go.

Hi! We tried the lap turns again. Using treats and then toy after seemed to work well! She had some angry moments but I think once she started realizing she gets the toy afterwards it got better.

Wind in your hair went okay! I’m not sure if I’m doing the end part correctly though?

    Hi!

We took another go at the Smiley Face Threadles.

We also did the Turn Away game again. Had no toy in sight this time. I tried to make it super exciting and had really good treats and would send her to the tunnel a few times as a reward. She was willing to do a few but was actively looking for her toy.

LOL! You’re totally right. What’s actually so funny is that I edited out about 2 minutes of me standing there contemplating on whether I was doing it right or not😆 We will try again! Thank you!

Hi! We tried some right rear crosses again. This time she took the jump but is doing an extra spin. I think I’m pushing off into her too early?

Turn Aways: She is not too fond of this one. She was able to do it a few times for one wing but not wrapping to one.

Hi! Yes it was reversed, lol. I feel like my body just knows when we’re working on her hard side and it’s like ‘how can we make this even worse?’ lol!

Get out Proofing Game: Left side went great! Right side was wonky at first, but I also had a floating arm. My get out cue somehow morphed into go out on the right side too.

Zig Zag Game: This went pretty well!

Wind In Your Hair: This was at the very end of our training session and I do think she was getting pretty tired so we only did a few. We started with a few ‘go’ and she did great. The first tight wrap I tried she ended up pushing to the outside of the opposite wing. I knew I was getting pretty close to her line if not almost on it, so I think that’s why she went far out.

Layering Game: This went ok! She was good at the ‘Go’ and did the go to tunnel pretty well. I only got one go to tunnel on camera but she did do a few.

Rear Cross Game: Right side is going well. She had some questions with the straight ahead wrap but I moved the jump over and that seemed to help. Left she still is unsure of. As soon as I say her left cue now she will peel into me. Could it be that she is unsure of going towards the wall?

    Hi!

Yes- she definitely was going for her ball, lol! I tried again here, trying to wait for her to fully cross in front of me before I start running to cross. She did pretty well at her left turns, but right RC was still hard. I think I was over correcting here at the end and going too far away from her, so she ended up coming towards me?

Proofing Game 3: We tried the super advanced here. It went well!

Hi! She most definitely is a lefty. We tried our RC and had a tough time with left again. She doesn’t have questions about right side. However, watching back I feel I am pushing in too fast too soon on her.

Ladder Grid: I see the double tap! I tried her closer with the five feet spacing but she didn’t seem to have the power to get through it without the double tap now. We changed it back to four feet and she seemed to do better.

Diamond Game: Following through with her on the left side to the tunnel definitely helped her out! This time we added a bit more on to the sequence.

    Hi! Thank you!

Wind In Your Hair Pt.2: We got a few good reps in here! In the beginning she started noticing I was switching the ball in my hands and got too focused on that, so I started to keep the ball in one hand and that seemed to help.

Proofing Game: This one was tricky! (For me) as they all are, LOL! I was feeling so awkward getting connected to her for the slice jumping. Kyla did a few reps with her and I saw she was rotating both hands, which seemed to get her better connection. It definitely felt much better!

The Ladder Grid: She always loves these ones! We started her at 4 feet and then moved her to 5 feet after seeing her, she looked a little compressed.

The Diamond Game: This one was fun! We had an oopsie and had a collision (Poor Sóly!) but she handled like a champ and was ready to go again.

    Hi!

Find The Jump: She loved this one! Got it right away.

Zig Zag For Slice Jump: This one was tricky (for me). Mostly just trying to figure out my body and hand movements. I think I figured it out? Lol.

Send ‘n’ Serps: This one also got me too! Again, looking back at it I need to be faster to be more ahead.

Thanks Tracy!! She definitely was judging. She was like “I’ll just lay here while you guys finish arguing!”😆

I’ll make the distance smaller for next time! I can’t remember what I had put it to for this one, but I see what you mean!

Here is our first take at Left and Right Verbals. It was so cold my phone was malfunctioning so it stopped recording multiple times so I only have bits and pieces from our session. She seems to like the lefty side better though! I held onto her until I could see her looking at the right direction. She had no failures on the left and 2 on the right. She needed to be closer to the bar on the right side when she was on the opposite side. After a few times she seemed to catch on.

Hi! Thank you! I’ve been trying to keep in mind not stopping!

    Pill Bug Game:
This went ok! There were a few times she got behind me. In the beginning I was holding the toy with both hands and switched later on to just one, which I think helped.

    Tunnel Exit Game:
Trying super hard to stay connected! I can see whenever she comes off the line it’s because I’m disconnected somehow.

    Wins In Your Hair:
She loves this game! We tried doing different distances with tossing and placing the ball.

    Set Point With Moving Target:
She’s also loving this one! She’s getting really good at staying. She had one hiccup and was able restrain herself.

Thank you for your detailed response!! Watching this back apparently Aelfraed was not happy waiting his turn to be in the ring! In case you couldn’t hear, lol!

The video for magnet fingers was a great refresher. I definitely have a tendency to end up with my hand pointing at the ceiling, lol. One day when dogs can levitate, it will really come in handy, lol.

We tried our loose turns again really trying to focus on keeping my arm back. I think I could work more on having an open shoulder and lower hand. However just the small change did help a ton! Right turns seem to be her easier side. I do need to keep in mind to keep going even when she breaks her line! Good advice. We tried a couple on the left side with two wings but didn’t want to do too many failures. So, I got her to left turn one wing and I would throw the ball past the next wing.

Smiley Face Game: In this game, she likes doing the wraps but isn’t entirely sure about the loose left and right turns (ree ree and la la). I think we just need to do some more practice with these cues? When she was younger, if I accidentally disconnected with her she would go full shark mode and bite. She’s calmed down since then and now just yells at me or launches herself at me. Any advice for that? I can’t tell if I’m doing something wrong at the loose turns or if she just doesn’t get it yet. We got 2 or 3 clean ones.

Proofing Wraps: This one was also challenging. She has great skills for both wrapping and tunnel, it was just tricky for her to know which one to go to unless I was helping with body language.
