I don’t know how anyone is getting through all these games. Stupid work keeps getting in the way.
I never go anywhere (other than dog shows) so the suitcase is completely neutral hahaha

    > Do they play together to burn off some of that excitement?

They do (this is my first time ever having dogs that play together). Frank is not the most skilled at managing his own arousal so i let them go for it for a while, but if Frank starts humping Barry we need to separate. I did tell Frank to tire out the dumb baby.

Treats: that was the chunky dog roll – freshly cut – as it “matures” it gets a bit crustier! He was also probably hungry and now has more adult teeths for ease of chomping (currently no canines cos they’ve all fallen out).

I did a pattern game in the kitchen at the factory and he had super low latency.

Arousal: It doesn’t help that FRANK is also hyped after training so they bounce off each other – and earned themselves some quality crate time hehe.

Yesterday was baby Barry’s 5-month birthday! Where did the time go!?

We’re back in the wallpaper factory. This was the second session. I did a session earlier that was just two bowls and he really struggled because there was a dog barking. But this session the working dogs were much further away.

This was also his first time playing with the inflation too. Afterwards I did some focus forward toy play. He is very aroused when we got home, I think partially cos it’s so late (got home at 10.20pm!)

Parallell targeting, when he wasn’t too focused on me, he hit that target pretty good. 🙂 (hope you can see it ok, I always struggle to frame it right. )

You may not recognise him! I defluffed the baby, and now he looks like a real dog! (Hoping he’ll grow into his head and feet lolz)
I think his focus forward is coming along, when I didn’t yell in his ears hehe

Working on some collar grabs. He was quite low energy. I might try it again with a toy.

Teaching the start of middle is always a nightmare for my mechanics. But we got there.

Here we are doing send and go. https://youtu.be/wpisxgzB6mc?si=6g3WC7-58RX3uk6Q
This was before I drank all the adult beverages. (Posting this after consuming adult beverages)
Don’t mind the floor, Barry took enrichment to new heights as I worked a nearly 12 hour day and he found stuff to shred.

I was quite pleased with the hand touch reset. I’d never done that with him before but will often do that with my other dogs so I didn’t think about what i was doing til after it happened.
It’s definitely been a long week

Bloody Barry and his mastication! I will seek out less chewy treats and I have another folding cone that’s taller. 🙂 I will work on standing up. I thought i might be able to this time, but the timer buzzed. 🙂

We’ve been working on a little two bowl game with a cone previously because I love Movement Puzzles so I was pleased to see we were ahead of the game on this one! He’s got the automatic ping ponging. In previous sessions we’ve got a little stuck when he could take a shortcut – he kept taking it, but this was a good session where he didn’t repeat the shortcut.

First day back at work SUCKED haha. I think it’s going to take a week to catch up from my 4 days off.

I have wisely taken an extra day off work to reset my hpa axis. 🙂 (and do laundry).

Sorry for three vids. Back on the WiFi after the weekend. Don’t worry, tomorrow we’re on the ferry so no video tomorrow. Here we are working on the send and go.

Here’s babby Barry being a weird Goat. He copied with a lot. This is our room where we’re staying so he slept in here last night, but still a new place. And his siblings were sniffing at the door cos there arent crates here.

If there’s a better angle, let me know!!!

Here is babby Barry doing the turn and decel game at a show, in a strange place. (We did have vehicles between us and the rings so it wasn’t too much distraction and it was a tiny show 35 dogs per class!!)

I cut out the bit where I wandered out of shot. Haha (i also just noticed the discussion of pain relief in the background…how to tell you’re at a dog show. Lol.
