    Thanks Tracy.
I wasn’t sure about my body position for the threadle. Thought maybe my feet and lower body not pointing forward enough.
Yes go is my release word. I think we talked about it on part one thread. If I want extensions I will repeat it.go go go. Or at least that is what I have done with the other dogs.

    Hi Tracy
I will try that with the toys. I know part of the thing is some toys are stuffy ones that are retrieved only and not tug toys. It is interesting to see his preference.
Today we tried some of the steps and threadles outside with the toy. The 1st rep was harder for him but he was good. My mechanics still need work. Especially on the treadles. The session was a little longer since I was trying to do both sides and we had the play in it.

    Hi Tracy
For the retrieves we often play with multiple toys in the family room but I have learned he has favorites and will not release and go to get 2nd toy while that one is in his mouth. If I hold the favorite toy and toss new he won’t go get the new. He proceeds to try to tug on the favorite. 🙄

Thanks for the information on Myos too!!

    Happy birthday!!!

    Hi Tracy
Today we did the retrieve game and tried a few more serps and threadles. For the retrieval I wonder if I need to do a little further distance for him. I think the serps and threadles went better.

Thanks Tracy. That makes sense. I had tried some different kibble in the MM. not sure how much of a fan he is. Curious what you use in it? I will try another session with some toy play added in. Could we try this with a toy on the ground or dish with treat?

Side note. I had seen your post about one of your dogs being allergic to Myos? Could you share the symptoms and how you found out?

    Hi Tracy

Thanks. Yes holding him is still tough with both hands sometimes.

Today we worked on the serp and threadles. We have not done them in a bit so I think he was confused or I did something wrong at the start

    Hi Tracy
Today we got outside to try the Minny Pinny with the turn and burn. It went ok but I did lose his focus towards the end. Not sure if I over did it or if something just caught his attention. My hand was hurting more with the tug so not sure if that played a part too.

    Hi Tracy
Thanks that helps. So reading over this weeks new games I thought I would send you my class from last Thursday. We did a little find my face and also wing wraps. Some more to work on for the wings but I think he has the concept transfer. We also had the distraction in the corner of the ring.

    Hi Tracy
    Stays- got it 😃

Minny Pinny- yes I was saying right and left.
Turn and burn after I am thinking I get it but want to be sure. He is on left and I am facing the three wings. I say right right right and do front cross. Am I moving to my left as I face the wings? Or opposite direction for him to do 180 wrap. Sorry maybe I am overthinking it.

    Hi Tracy
My hand is starting to feel better and yes happy to have it done. Hope you had a great time at the seminar and good time at the next one 🤗

For the stays with the cookies on the table. Do I do my stay then the remote reenforcement of cookies and run to them with him? Or I just pick cookie up off table? We have been working on some impluse control with cookies on the ground. Spins and hand touches. I pick up cookie from pile on floor and use that as reward. So should I try similar with the stay?

Today we tried the next steps for Minny Pinny. My wings inside couldn’t lock the jump bar so we went outside. I thought it went ok.

    Hi Tracy
Just checking in. Hope to have some video for you tomorrow. Thanks for heads up about being out. Where in Il are you headed? Safe travels!!

Edit. Ok we got a stay session in. He has been really bored the last couple of days so this one was a little longer. I had my left hands carpel tunnel done yesterday so no tugging for a little bit. All is ok. Just bored dogs. Brighton was fomo for this session for sure.

    Hi Tracy

For the stays. The 1st time we did it weeks ago I wasn’t varying my steps away enough and you had suggested I try to change that up too. I will work on not being repetitive robot handler lol.

Recall in class was a blast. I had offered to have someone else hold him since I figured he would be a bit excited for my instructor but she said she would do it. lol not sure I can fit flyball into our schedule but I do bet he would like it. Honestly I don’t know where they even teach it around here.
The back corner tunnel in class was very dark. He did do great

I think he is pulling your arm forward so not really shoving?).

correct he was pulling my arm forward vs me shoving. He was pulling pretty hard

Find my face. lol yes the golden fan club. Was thrilled they were quiet 😂. Especially Brighton. He is major fomo boy around Dub. You mentioned using toy for find my face so would I just start with the pattern game and treats and then one time he does find my face toss toy or say tug?

    Hi Tracy
For the Minny Pinny next steps you gave me above. Do you want a rep using the verbal before adding bars? I just reread what you posted and wasn’t sure

Here is our 1st try for find my face

He kept trying to get the toy in my pocket. Silly boy. For the spins should I move onto adding in more and the turn and burn?
Yes the stay work was after the cone session. I will try to remember to change up the amount of time waiting. lol I was trying to pay attention to my steps away from him so not surprised I messed up that variable.

Today in class we played with a few recalls.

I will keep it simpler in class.

Today we played outside and did the spins, post turn and some stays. I blew the stay challenge. 🙁
