ParticipantI brought his Cato board out. He learned positions when he was tiny tot there. He’s solid there with the exception of it only happened after I releases him to do the set up when I was past 2. Meaning if I lead out between one and 2 and do the jumps he doesn’t break the next rep. If I lead out past 2, he also doesn’t break ( I’m rewarding the stay with a throw back) and then I will randomly release
To the jumps. The very next rep he breaks the stay. An yes I’m making it lol
The same like he doesn’t know he’s getting paid for a stay. lol. Half the time he sat there until the frisbee almost hit him in the face lmao!Tina Reynolds
ParticipantLateral lead out video didn’t post

ParticipantI’m going to focus on helping his sit. He doesn’t have a good down honestly and since it’s arousal based I would potentially muddy that cue too. He just needs more focus practice on it and I’ve been lazy!!
Here’s our lateral lead outs. Sorry you can’t see the last jump but atleast you can see the timing
And more tandems. I went back to the toy after a few sessions. This video is more about the toy than handling. You mentioned he doesn’t know when to get it. I would say yes I’m not always clear but I am about 90 percent. He has certain contexts of when it’s happening. He does very clearly know the bite verbal when it is isolated.

ParticipantNever mind! I went closer. He did get a treat for when I went back and fixed his sit. Can’t always see but he’s crossing his paw. It’s harder when I step to side. I am trying to let his feet settle before moving
Tina Reynolds
ParticipantHelp! lol. We did do th lead outs and they went well minus some stays , I was going to submit but when the crew came to FF I figured id do the next level…
Sadly the camera doesn’t have his sit. We had some feet and broken stays and my plan this week is to work on that but he wasn’t able to take jump one….

ParticipantClarify what clarify his marker means. Snort!! I have accidentally said get it a that marker needs to go away because I mucked it up. Get it basically is go so it should be your toy is ahead. That’s how he interpreted it. So thag one I am trying to get away from get it. Bite is his you can get the toy from my hand- this one he struggles with and I’m sure motion triggers it. At home I have worked the verbal the waving it all the things and he’s ok. In training he’s not. So is it a marker cue issue or an issue of he can’t process the cue because I paired it incorrectly or he’s too stimulated to make good choices ?
Tina Reynolds
ParticipantI think this went alright lol!
This not so much! Let’s just say we opted to delete the attempts when I was going to the right. He got paid a lot and he was happy but it didn’t work at all! Partly because there was just soo much stuff around and I don’t think I spent enough time on the flat work baby level which is what I went back to here
Tina Reynolds
ParticipantCatching up on homework!!
He’s going wide on the threadles. I know it’s me. lol!
Tina Reynolds
ParticipantI’m still here!!
I’ve been working on life but he is still loving agility!!
We had some great training because it was with friends and there were distractions!!
Backsides still hard… an I can’t spit the right word
Ladder was fun and he did things I didn’t know he could!!
I should not make stuff up as I go. lol! He did fine. I didnt walk the course lol!!
Tina Reynolds
ParticipantBeen doing the things. Videos done and then no time to sit down and get them to you!!
Nothing making me go nuts other than rears with him are so hard. I think I need more space between jumps for timing.
We are working on a new way to release the toy by dropping it complete and my palms up but relaxed seem to be working. This will help me take th collar less.
He is showing some snatch and grab the toy issue. This isn’t when I’m whipping it away after we tug and it’s really hurt my hand a few times so I’ve just been trying to stop the game for a second when it happens. May or may not have happened in this series.
Stays and feet are better but the lurching is worse ….
Tina Reynolds
ParticipantThis was hard! We got it right then I kept getting in his way not fully connected etc lol!
We have been working the stay. Stilll figuring out which will work best for lead out to minimize the front feet. Errors happen less but randomly he only had 1 here. But at the third ? Rep he jumped up at me when he was between my legs so I just decided to take a calming moment. It wasn’t terrible but he was trying to tell me things. After that no issues.
Tina Reynolds
ParticipantHere’s the real /not social media speed circle of timing. Pretty good overall
Tina Reynolds
ParticipantOk we did the winging it. Either we just did that good or i made it easier then it should have? I mean , don’t get me wrong I was not perfect on timing or words. I went silent on one because I didn’t know what to say lol!
When he made an error on the wrap I felt it was him and tried again but realized I lured him through the gap unintentionally with my toy so I hid it after and he was still amazing. I didn’t give him enough credit lol!Tina Reynolds
ParticipantWill keep you posted!!!!
Here’s some fun teeters.
Tina Reynolds
ParticipantIs the wing a game to level one lol I just skipped it because I figured it was too easy. Ha ha.
Thank you on the sits.
He does move his feet probably 30% of the time he was pretty good here of course, but he will cross a paw and then the lurching is really bad. It tends to be more on the lateral lead outs so is there something I can do to help him with that like let’s say he does move his feet what is my best response to help him with that without being punitive and causing stress on his start line. I like his start line. I just need a little bit more settle.
