Right blinds to wraps- my body does not like this😂. This is my third take. I’m just now where I need to be even tho my brain knows where to go. Add it she has some skill building on counter motion when I’m not dead straight onto a wing wrap.

Fun times- we are tugging again- we did so much with food we forgot we tug for agility too
We trained by the fan and window open!
    Gates are open!
And there was a mess of mushed treats from someone in previous class so we worked through some scent challenges!

We are back! Chata first heat cycle made training a challenge. Week 1 was a fight with the panties 😂. And now it’s been so so hot it’s hard to train.
The rear cross video was our last training video and I was losing air and she was hot and didn’t want to tug as much. One rep you can see I quit. She got a cookie and I pushed myself :). I haven’t done much with rears so I will need to practice these !!!

    our rear crosses-

Our wing counter commit. Sorry video is a little over limit. I ended up spliced all the levels together. This was so hard on my brain! She of course was all in all the time. The fan was on high so very hard to hear but I promise I got all my words!! 😂

My first video of lines turned into a training session on start line stays. I almost did a TikTok video because every time I got to the wing of the jump she threw herself into a down. And not a stressed out got a stiff down but I slammed down ears flipped back let’s go. And it was not random. It was every time I led out. it was the quirkiest thing because we’ve never asked her to lie down.

She does show it in one of the videos and only did it one time but she had me laughing so hard.

There were other things set up so I didn’t have a lot of space but I think it worked out OK for the most part

Blinds- not the best on timing. Man these are hard but fun!

Omg this was so much fun!
I cut out the intermittent play and a break.
Not sure I’m ever going to get the timing right. She’s a little pocket rocket. I also spit out so many wrong words! I even practiced before I started 😂

The cuts in the videos are just tugging and playing. Both of these I tried to ramp up the time and reward in between skills

Motion override- she has done this but she could not do as well that day so I over shot what I thought she could do when we started and dialed back.

Teeters- she is obsessed with them because she was so afraid of it when she was a tiny tot so we have done a ton of value building.

We do pattern games every time whether on home turf or new place. 🙂 I just don’t video to save time. Also why I am concerned since she should be fully engaged and seems to be when I go to start. I added in unclicking the leash in a new place ( not actually taking off and rewarding her looking to me/staying with me.
Part of it, I believe she’s gotten a taste for full access running so it’s such a high value thing I need to adjust it be on my granting the access. We will keep at it!!

Yeah the one woman party✋🤦‍♀️ is because I am starting to worry about her leaving. She’s been doing it probs 1 out of 8 times. She did it again today at Sotc. She wanted to run off first check all the things then she was good to go. It’s a V thing ( well can be any dog right?) but I have ptsd from Tugs so need to be better in my day to day to want her to acclimate with out needing to run off.

I will be visiting these drills for sure! She’s so squirrely fast I get lost watching !

How did she get so brilliant? Never imagine she would find lines ANd not take a tunnel when cues a wrap!!

We had some minor stay issues. As much as I want to do stands too I have tried and she moves too much. But all in all I’m not concerned with her stays. She left for a hot second caught smell. That side of the turf leaves a lot of dogs sniffing. No idea what it is tho. 🤷‍♀️

Never saw the bar go down hence why the bar went down😂

Much more in love with this one!

I had a couple super short lazy games not included. – she could not would not turn left. She even went on a rear cross path at one point so I did put a pre loaded food bowl out to help her.

I didn’t bring out the toy on the sessions not recorded but she was totally fine so I’m going to run with the door being open she was having a harder time!

This session she didn’t skip a beat in terms of want to play the game with me. Yay!!

I was not in love with this session. Usually she’s happy to work toys or food but I think I needed her toy.
Her get it game led to more sniffing then usual. Environment was changed with the doors open but not sure that had anything to do with it.
Once she starts jumping sits are hard. And yes I got creepy and weird on the one rep since I didn’t think she was going to stay.

I did more reps then I wanted because when I sent- she would not turn but go straight so I thought to throw more as a lure to help.
So I’d like to clean this all up. I wonder if she was just bored?

Ha yes- the right and bite have just come to light. I literally watched my first few minutes and said “ why am I saying right” when it was bite so I will clean up my right verbal since the bite cue is installed and has made a million improvement in everything we do when it comes to rewards.

I will work on the connections. Funny every time I sent I was like got time… Omg she’s almost out of the tunnel 😂.

I think today was the last day to send any videos. ( insert sad face since I was slightly a slacker lol)

I’m not sure if this is ok to post here, but chata and I just started the initial tunnel threadle and we having some challenges. The first time is was messy. This session there was so really amazing stuff until there wasn’t – was it because of the in between moments that set us down a wrong road? Over stimulation from tunnels? Or my feet and arms just got out of line ? 😂.

I am familiar with some pattern games that we use for loose leash walking. But not a ton. Take a breath games- are they on the AU or do I look elsewhere?

PS so can’t wait to see you live with this amazing talented cracking red devil

To answer yes- collars are shaped as well as a chin. Her chin hold is hysterical. Her eyes are huge and she’s ready to pop.

First thing we discuss teaching her in competition obedience – stand and be still. We are still working on it.

All good things to continue to focus on!
