I know exactly what you’re saying here- I never use the word almost but it has no baring. I could say taco but my actions are the key so that I can very much adjust!!!

Who would think chata would attempt the other tunnel hole lol! Good point!!!

Did a super short session again. Left as much as I could in. She offered me a set up and we rolled with it. The second time she offered again but I was too far behind the wing so I did try to move. She couldn’t stay and I just wanted to let the situation diffuse quick. Hope that was ok?

Interesting even tho she got paid she had to get her leash right after. Makes sense.
    Let me know thoughts 🙂

Today was take 2! We started with the tunnel turned to ground and she was good. Then another rep and all good and she happened to run off with the leash after that. Of course there was some reason I just don’t know why and it wasn’t caught on tape. Poo! But she came right back and all good. I just put the leash away. We worked a bunch of reps and then auntie Kris offered to hold her so I could add in the additional jumps with out worrying about all the wraps and timing.

I also did a little of package 1 after everyone left. This was sooo much easier for her!!

Will do! I was planning on putting the bar all the way down anyway after this session thinking. Omg it will be 2025 before we get to 3 jumps so keep it low lol!!

Also she was off her rocker bc Aaron was there videoing. Will be interesting to see her when she’s back to her and I

These were our best attempts. Gah! Several adjustments to the wing. And we had several tunnels before we got to this point. There is no layer yet. Lol.

What am I doing wrong? Help!

Getting ready to start the RYG package 2-
Thoughts for chata on starting this. In my head I’m a little concerned about the start and if I do a little sling in it’s going to make her question the tunnel. Should I try wrapping a wing before 1? I don’t want to do something like this and have it all flustered from the get go

Overall much better. I probably should have taped the targets down. Sigh… her old teeter concern came back with where it was so I helped bring it down for her which made the next part a little harder but she rocked it especially when I told her go! Oops.

Here’s the good, bad and the wowza lol!!

Reaction time when things got hot on the start is still a challenge for me. Atleast the first time. I was able to atleast have a plan the second time.

The first run, she offered the set up but when I stepped out she said nope and then she kept circling. What you can’t see is the Leash on the ground. In her previous life she would have taken off with it. She made hard decisions but it only flustered her. I was simply trying to turn her around and go :).
Second run the cookie throw away and me lining up just wasn’t happening.
Contacts- it’s all where her head is at and they went to hell. Not upset just had a hard time setting up the line to go again so need help on that to make a fast easy transition so it doesn’t feel wrong to her.
Happy that I used my right out of tunnel 16 the second run. Tried the Bc because the rear was yucky for both. I was so close ( not really lol!).

I literally can’t stop laughing as reading this. All those places that installed out/ Aka decel /met her at the tunnel was me literally like someone was holding my pants and I couldn’t run ( these runs were my 4-5th attempts maybe lol!

The clapper. I haven’t done that since Nia. It is not a thing I would like to continue.

She doesn’t have the slice skill yet. Thought about the blind. If we get a chance I will try the blind at the end

Very excited about this summer and all the things we will lear

    Here we go!!

I was pumped to run this. I felt it was with in chata ability… I did not account for my aging body. Lol! I pieced my best two. ( ran the opening about 3 times) she was awesome with jump 3 the first time and then we couldn’t get it. I just wasn’t in the right spot I think so there was some pausing and ackward handling my last run.

I have no idea where “get out” came from or “come.” Two words I never say! The clapper was fun. I tried to do the wrap at 10 and I could not get my feet around and bought the orange tunnel, Or if I left too early I bought the jump. The blind was the only thing that worked. I’m hoping to revisit that as it may be baby dog stuff
I giggle every time I watch this.

I work every Wednesday so I haven’t been able to watch any of the zooms yet. I will do that one first.

    I have another question.
Ella grew up with all the games- shadow handling, find my face, sniffling etc… we can do all the things and do them happily outside the ring. Shadow handling is a warm up for us

I’m not sure how to work on find my face in agility because when I have a disconnected or there’s something she’s not getting- she finds my face no problem- she comes at me. So should I still be playing this ? I just worry that it will reinforce hr coming at me like she’s already doing.

So I’m mainly trying to figure out how to bridge the gaps here. The main thing I’m guessing is working her maybe at the practice jump at a trial and then go to her settle Mat. She’s crates in the car at class/seminar because she can’t settle when other dogs are running and the space we train is super tight so not fair to ask her to with out being able to give her adequate space.

Yes I knew they were close unfortunately I didn’t have much space due to class going on and dogs in crates just past where I was

Since class is ending and I missed a lot with Ella- can you explain the super bowls with the jumps? It was mentioned at the beginning of the class and I want to make sure I have some semblance of an idea of what do with her on my own and to put all this into context with my dog.

    Thanks!

Hey I’m back!! I decided since Chata has pretty much grown up with this stuff I’d wait to see what Ella can do. She’s off rest but no agility. Today I was able to get her back to the training building- but for obedience class which she likes as much as agility! Since she couldn’t do what the class was doing we did some Super Bowl by our crate. I was not the best at timing- she was also distracted enough to offer things outside of what she knows with this game! Here’s the raw uncut and basically- was this a good game to play getting back into things ??
