For our first sequence, I’ve laid out a simple set of connecting pinwheels. It’s a very common course design in almost every agility venue but it’s simple enough to allow us to identify the key components and to apply all the guidelines. The course #1 document and demo has details on both front crosses – all the nitty gritty stuff! And, a short demo on how it actually runs.
If you want to practice on this sequence, it’s easy to build and you can build it in multiple pieces. Alternately, you can review, watch and then test yourself on Course #2. Please take a moment to review the drill sets first. You may not need to do with your dog – everyone comes into this class with different skills – but there are some skills your dog needs for front crosses to work.
