Thanks for the sit hints. There is an added complication that I am training her for conformation and heavily discourage sitting facing me. I will try the platform and me sitting.

Hoping to get back to prop rear crosses and tunnels at my next meeting break. For now a fixed my feet on strike a pose and used my correct word cues.

Also the legs bumps was hysterical with a toy. Enjoy

I forgot my nose target so no chance to get my feet right this weekend. We had a busy day learning to jump out of the expen. I now have a sit but no commitment to stay- work in progress. I had to turn my back to get it initially. She is pretty literal on the get it and has found her mom’s leaping behavior a bit too fun. I was super pleased with the baby tandem and laps! At least we have rear cross skill. I will try the prop tomorrow.

    Thanks for all your feedback.

    Sorry this is so long…

Poor Taq has never ever in her life been awarded for a sit facing me. I did not like the rate of reinforcement but also knew she would offer. I wonder if I should try and position her next to me to try it? I am more likely to get it offered. Strike a pose went well. Also showed her amazing toy play and bringing me the tug. She went through a stage of offering to bite my hands to make them tug. Luckily she does not bite hard and it did not work so now she only tries a bit!

    Rear crosses- better?

We both love the barrel! Tunnel went well.

    Thank Tracy

Question about verbals- so I have right (wrap) and left (turn) side wrap verbals and then ultimately the threadle wrap verbhal (push). We are not threadling yet though right? And when we send, it is dog side arm and leg? Because I did that wrong on the video in rep at 25 sec.

Tried working on the rear crosses. I got a few correct. Better treats for the grass so we will keep working on it. She loves the ready dance.

I am really going to need this skill. Taqs mom only does tight sliced rears and I have to give her verbal encouragement to turn her back on me!

To treat myself we brought out the barrel!

I tried a toy reward with the prop and it did not go well in this space so I went back to click and treat. Front crosses were great but OMG the rear crosses. Hopefully in a large space???

Barrel went great. I had to stay close due to space. So worked well. She loved it!

I will work on all those prop suggestions!

    Here are parallel lines

    And front crosses

I will try the pad further away. Agree on the light bulb about that on the back up.

I need to get better grass treats. Ordered and should arrive on T day. Thank you Amazon?

    Have a great holiday!

Click treat Danika. Short session, hands down, super back up! Added in tugging off leg since I can’t work on just one thing🤣

Super awesome off leash hike with lots of check ins. 1 recall and cookies for everyone. I am literally a human Pez- super cute dog name…

Excited to work outside today and tomorrow on some of the new exercises.

Welcome back. Thanks for all your work for the open. I hope to attend next year with Cricket, Taqs mom.

Here is some wobble tug, toy races and blinds! Toy races I knew I would not beat her often but boy did she not let me beat her after I did some keep away!

I also bought a mat so she is not slipping. This only makes her faster Tracy!!

Here is some work on learning in arousal, backing up and back and forth.

I am keeping my sessions too long. She is telling me it is too much but kissing me during the session. So bad trainer. Great puppy.

Excited to attend the live live tonight!

Here is our tugging play, back up
Work, 2 toys and bowl work with a mini wall. Hopefully tomorrow I will race to toy outside. It rained today but we managed a fun Farmdog family walk. We practiced cookies for checking in.

I keep forgetting to say how much I love this course!

I need to up the cookie since she would rather chase me on the blinds! She is not always eating them.

Ok on off the plank- I was not sure if that counted as too much lure.

I have 2 little wobbles so maybe I can set them both out. I also have a small pivot for that plank- not sure if I should use that?

So here is my attempt at using toys for the back and forth game. Felt like a big fail. How do I get puppy to release toy one? Should I just try without a wall first? I think I have done that with her successfully in the past. Also maybe identical toys until she gets it. I do think she likes all moving toys. I was also trying to im prove my tugging behavior so please comment on that!

I hope you having fun at uKI!!!

    Our goat stuff is progressing.
She is fast, my blinds are late
I just borrowed a plank (she has never seen one). I thought you enjoy what she offered!

So here we do blinds and decels, plank work and tugging on a tiny wobble!

I am purposely waiting for her to swallow the cookie. I have had dogs choke on the cookie if I call before they swallow.

We had a horrible time with goat. Used a bin she fished out cookie and took off after a stick. Second time I used a brick which sounds like break and since I talk all the time that was confusing. Plus the brick was heavy. Also Apparently I have trained this game since there was little shaping involved!

Here I show some nice blinds and the third try at puppy in arousal. I was slow!
