I hope everything is ok with your dog. It is hard when they age. Taq and I took a break which was good for her. I think I did the tunnel threadles the way you wanted. I swear I was not flicking her in! The one mid threadle was so me I pointed her the wrong way. But next reps were great! Zig zag- is this more the distances you want? The big toy target was much better. She just can’t switch to that after little blue sparkle ball. I cleaned out my garage and will be posting a Facebook game to guess how many balls I have…

Teeter- I mostly remembered to not feed from my hands! She also seemed much more confident with what I wanted.

Ok I thought about those big white bowls and my throwing ability etc etc. I went back to mm starting on top of the mat. No voice on mm and I thought these were great. My plan unless you say otherwise is to do a few reps at the end of training very slowly increasing distance and then adding in my movement.

Hopefully this is what you meant on the tunnel threadles. I was so pleased she got the threadle wraps once I shut up!

The zig zags were ok but her little blue sparkle ball is hard to see and she could not switch to the holler roller.

We did some barn hunt work today. Taq is not into it at all. That will save me some money!

Teeter- worked on feeding on target and throwing rewards no hand feeding.

Dish- got a bigger one. She was not so Keen on it.

Tried to get my turn cues better on the lead outs

So excited no broken stays on the lead outs. One slow step was pretty hard off the teeter. I also show the dish progress. Let me know if we should try the Matt.

This was mid-day work so Taq did get hot and we had two
Errors on the lead outs so I ended.

I thought her teeters were good. Next step? Should she jump onto a higher teeter? We are still working on dish without the mat. One more session and the. I will add the mat.

So happy to be back! Dogs were happy too. I did some dish work not on video. She was sending nicely to it inside. Will plan on a few more session out and about before I bring the Matt’s back.

Teeter. Omg I screwed the target on and still had a malfunction. Hubbie watered my teeter all 5 days I was gone and that end the runner was soaked so I had to lift it back with my foot each rep! Remember she does not like collar grabs (I have tried to work on this … ). I had to angle my body so it would be impossible to go around. I have no idea why she would not release without my movement maybe the sl concern over the collar?

Tunnels- as usual you are so right – reps where I told her before entry the direction were 10000% better!

No issue with the rears – kind of cool. I really hope to have a dog that can obstacle focus and work more at a distance.

OMG- the phone version dumped me out 3 times. Switching to a computer!

I will out of town until Sat night so No I am not dead.

Mat- we tried a session with a raised long mat and the MM behind a wing and she did not seem to get it at all. So after sleeping on it I did the session you see here. My idea was to focus on the mechanics of her moving away from me. Initially, I preloaded the dish. When I didn’t she had questions but then she seemed to work them out. Let me know if you think this is a good solution. I was also thinking that I could maybe do this on just the one mat raised. She will run across the mats fine with a ping pong back and forth and a recall as you saw. It is just going away from me and then the MM.

Teeter- I did a few session with naming the target and behavior (nose down and a foot touch- which rocks her back). Name is Dive. This teeter video is our first time on the board. I am luring her into the starting position since she wants to load on the board form the end. The bang does not seem to bother her and she offered nice behavior. Sorry about the dang target coming off.

tunnel exits: Putting the wings in the right location helped. We have more work to do here obviously.

Sorry I trained before I got your feedback!

Teeter I should have changed her reward marker to good but despite my bad training she did pretty well. On the SERPs I think I need to build my courses better since the jumps were not quite on line for her. At least on these tries I opened my shoulder to her before she took off for the jump. I built the tunnel exit but then had some trouble with her carrying so will try that again tomorrow.

    Arrg the Mat?

She can do well on a recall. The mm ignores the switch to be silent at least for 2 reps- possessed machine.

    I rewarded a hop arggh

Should I maybe try bringing in the distances?

Baby loves SERPs! Flying and so much fun.
The teeter was an inch off. The target is not super well attached.

I have a plan for the mat. The wait for a long one would be crazy but I have 3 shorter ones so thinking I can string them together.

    Planning on straightening serp today.

    Teeter- going great!

Matt- I went back to throwing food and she was great and then mm and I got hop along Cassidy. I will try food bowls ( neither of us is very good at those and elevating the mat.

Loved the SERPs! The last set where I could send and leave were a rush! Loved them. We will include the tunnel tomorrow morning.

We have been working on the offering board end behavior and backing onto the board. These went super well! Offering four on in order to play is just brilliant!!

I also went way back to basics with the left turn threadle wrap. This video shows first attempt at TW in the big field. I wonder if I am cuing it differently on this side? She sure gets it for the right turn. I also show the serp starts. She did have a weird not sure I want to sit thing. I probably did not handle that so well.

    Thanks for the feed back!

Figured out some stuff! I use blinds all the time and thought I was keeping my arms down but so little time to react with Taq! I went back an ex and felt the blinds were better. On the threadle I made the discovery breakthrough that it is the left turns!!! She can do it on the right and it is not a north south problem (is it ever?). This helps. I will break down the left turns with food and try again. We also worked this weeks offering contact last evening (still 108 here!) and that went very well. Please tell me the wings are almost over! My brain can’t handle them! Please notice on my fall I did not lose connection and rewarded my pup!

I know I said Threadle but I was trying to do the tandom turn! I watched both videos a couple of times and I am not catching how the dog would know which one we are doing. I do threadle wraps with my current dog but I can’t say that I have ever used a tandom turn on a course. I want to be clear with the puppy.

    Omg double crosses….

Sorry unedited- her first turns were not tight. I forgot to use my verbals.
