I was much more thoughtful about her rewards and felt like I had her interest! Yeah for me. I am using two small balls ( her mother loves them too.) and she is returning nicely for throws. When I start a new rep I give her food for the ball.

I missed that she was breaking on the second side. Oops better watch that.

I thought you would get a kick out of her ability to back jump at a slice and take the tunnel- I can use a shorter bar next time too!

I thought these went better but we had some motivational issues. I tried different toys. Grass was cold and wet???

Thank you for the rear cross explanation!! It helped me so much. They are my nemesis for sure. I did this ex with Taq’s mom too. So fun!

I was terrified of moving those wings in but I did it!

We also tried finding the jump and boy did she love that!

Other than issues of me knowing my right from my left… I thought these went well. She live the slalom and those start lines???? How cool. I think I was getting anxious and I should make sure I hold them a bit longer.

Tracy- duh🙈. Pinwheel jumps were so far apart!

I set up my props better and even got 2 directional out before I let go most of the time!

Then I tried the serp. I left my fall in for your entertainment. She is just so fast. I was trying to get out of my own way🤣

I moved the send a bit closer but feel like I did not do this correctly after watching the video.

My shoulder was not back enough.?

As always thank you for the help!

I am having some trouble with the tunnel turns. Taq does not know left and right. Is this how you teach it?

Here is our attempt now that she wants to play

I took Taq to the trial on Sunday and she was herself. Greeted everyone, liked some folks more than others, not bothered by the trial or dogs, played nicely with a younger puppy, greater the veterans with respect. Crated well etc. did not really want to play with toys and was mellow.

So I thought about our life changes and decided it had to do with me leaving her with playmates all day long. Light switch back to my engaged puppy.

The first test was switching between toys to tug and she was great then I did food to toys and she was great.

So I am going to split her days so she can play in the evening but not during the day.

Here is our first bug. I did not have time to pull out a second tunnel.

The tunnel was clean and dry🤷‍♀️

But her outgoing brother was less outgoing today at an agility trial. So we may be in a stage.

I moved to set point with moving target. I used cookies on rep 2 to help her get comfortable close to the bar and she wanted to engage with the toy less but I did get her to engage. Then we took a break I work on tricks with cookies, then played fetch then came back to it. She was ok setting close to the bar with no cookies but a few times she was watching me more than the moving toy.

She seems o real less e gaged with toys and more interested in food. We are transitioning to eating with all the dogs so she is eating less. Also she is more integrated into the house so less alone time.

This did not go well. Watching the video back maybe I was too loud on the go but she got very confused and I should have stopped the session in stead of trying different toys. She is post heat so maybe more sensitive?

How can I help her be successful?

Ok tried this again! When I did the cookie collar she stopped working for the toy and got stickier. So these attempts were with a toy and maybe not all the noises before hand. I also changed my words 🤪

    Tracy- 🤣🤣🤣🤣

But my tunnel command is tunnel tunnel

You know there are the 1,2,or 3 tunnel folks!

Ok I will use my words!

    Danika

Ps if my cue is tunnel tunnel maybe I should say it four times for the exercise!
