    Hi Tracy!
I actually thought I posted this a couple days ago but it never showed up so I’m trying again! We have done a second session of this since this one with both some distance and some sideways and backwards sends. The only time I’m getting hesitation is when she gets a sniff of the cookie in my hands as I’m sending her then her head whips back to me lolol. The one that is posted here is our first try at it.

    Thanks Tracy!
Those suggestions make perfect sense and I will try them with her! Yesterday we did a session of the beginning stays at home. It’s hard to do it at the barn because the treats get lost in the dirt. I think this one went good though!

    Hi Tracy!
We practiced a little bit of the SERP and parallel path in a new place on Friday. I’m not really sure I was doing the reward placement correctly. She didn’t want to drive to her toy if it wasn’t moving in the parallel path game. Should I be putting a manners minder or target out instead?
    Thanks!

    Hi Tracy!
We worked a handful of games today because I feel like we are ridiculously behind ugh! I’m not sure what week I left off but I tried some of week four today.
Stays I think were a little better and tunnel games went pretty good. I don’t think my mechanics were very good on the strike a pose. She likes her toy to be alive so I didn’t really stand still like I should to let her drive over to it. Not sure how to fix that.
    Thanks !

    Hi Tracy!
Hope you all had a nice holiday down there! Maple and I got back to work today. I practiced the start line stays and the putting it together thingy. I feel like my start line practice was not spectacular. I’m very nervous training this because I’ve never had a dog with a good one and I think it showed. I think the other one went better.
We are still working the backing up. Getting closer to the couch helped but I’m only getting a couple steps is that ok?
    Thanks!

    Hi!
Ok I think I understand the backing up method better but I still struggled 😬 I do think we got more steps though. This is different then the way we taught Winn.
We also tried the plank. She was happy to get on but I feel like we kinda got stuck. Sorry these are so long. I didn’t realize it til I went to edit them!
    Thanks!

    Hi Tracy!
Pretty sure we are behind everybody but we are working through week two games right now. This morning we worked on different tuggy toys, increasing our wing wrap ( I used my sons djembe lol hope that was ok!) and finally backing up. I think things went well except for backing up. That seemed like an epic fail! All three are included let me know!

    Hi Tracy!
I will definitely keep working that focus forward because you are right, the instinct to pounce just isn’t a thing !
Today we tried the wing wrap and the blind cross games. We also revisited the nose touch with the reward placement fixed. I think on the wing wrap I moved it too far too fast so I put it closer. I tried both a toy and food on the blind cross game to see which worked better.
    Thanks!

    Hi Tracy!
So I practiced the first couple games with Mae today and I also redid the pillow game with the reward in the right spot. I think I argued with her a little bit more then she needed about her stay on her drive to handler game. She has a teeny stay but I probably shoulda just tossed her a cookie.
She wasn’t really running to her toy on the focus forward game she was kinda trotting along. Is that ok?
    Thanks !

    Hi Tracy!
We did a little pre gaming today! I think she liked it (: I used a pillow for her object and I used a jar opener thingy one of my students made me for the nose touch! When I watched the videos back I feel like she should of gotten rewarded more often on the pillow part. Also my editing was terrible I’m sorry, I’m so tired all the time I don’t know whether I’m coming or going half the time!
Let me know what you think!

    Hi Tracy!
So we tried the zig zag game today and I kept it much shorter. She was a little unsure in the beginning but I think she got more confident as we kept trying. Let me know what you think!

    Hello!
We tried the smiley face game today. She seemed to really like it! Please excuse my flailing arms good lord! I left the part of the video where she struggled to get the hang of going the other way so you could tell me if I was doing something wrong or that’s just a harder way for her? Also wondered if I should stick with these games or move onto another one? Thanks !,

    Hi Tracy!
Thank you So much for picking some games for me! I had today off from school and it was great to have a little training plan for Mae! After I watched it back I realized I didn’t do a front cross on the one side, but she was having so much fun! We practiced the tunnel today and she liked it so I will try the smiley face game soon too!
Let me know what you think!!

    Morning Tracy!
I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything. Going back to school has been a lot more exhausting then I realized. Mae doesn’t really get trained like she should and I can’t figure out which games we are ready for. Ugh I feel like a hot mess. Anyway I videoed a little bit of our serp game yesterday to see what you think.

    Hi Tracy!
I had Winn over to the barn today and we practiced that last course again. She missed jump 7 again when I tried to do a send and wrap back to the tunnel. I don’t have any video but was just wondering if there’s games I could practice for that or something? She does not like that move at all so far.
    Thanks!
Sorry for no video the puppy brain is taking over lol!
