ParticipantWe started working on the end behavior on a teeter too. I know it’s not in the classwork but sharing anyways.

ParticipantRound two at right turn out of tunnel. We have done left only. I think he is figuring it out now. I think l will add a normal tunnel for the next session.
Carol
ParticipantHere is us working on Tunnel exits.
So the only thing he knew until today is to run straight out of a tunnel. My word for that is neece (sp?)
A tunnel with “natural” curve coming out is “tunnel”
For a tight left turn out of the tunnel I will say Tunnel then Link.
For a tight right turn coming out of the tunnel I will say Tunnel rechtsum.I started teaching soft Tunnels today and started teaching tight left.
You will see when I say the word tunnel he has no idea what to do. 🤣
Also for teaching tight turns out of the tunnel I’m going to teach a foot target to a prop. I want to make sure I get super tight turns with him. Paps are notorious for going wide. For your viewing pleasure

ParticipantHey hey!!
I uploaded a video on the internet at home!!Here we are practicing a threadle wrap. This our second session and I added in a a cookie throw so he had a little movement into the wrap and I walked ever so slowly.

ParticipantI somehow was able to squeeze some training in between taking care of my parents for 3 days (dad had surgery), packing for the USO, and being trial chair for an AKC Trial on Friday. Looking back I’m not sure how I did it. 🤣
Here are some clips of our prop game which clearly we need to do more of at this level, forward focus, BC foundation, and drive to hand games.

ParticipantWell, better late than never.
Here we go with some week 1 work.
She is jumping pretty high. I think you placement instead of throwing the toy may be good for her.
Carol
ParticipantHi ya!
Here is where we are with her sit on a prop.
Suggestions on next steps??
Carol
ParticipantFinding time to edit and upload video with this horrible country internet has been almost impossible. LOL
Here is one video from last Friday. Hopefully I can get more done later.
We worked on sit tug sit , sit stay and acceleration and deceleration.
She had question on the decel so after 2 times I moved her closer to the jump. That helped.Carol
ParticipantFirst RD session. Lord help me. I can’t believe I’m going to do this again. Hahaa!!
Carol
ParticipantHere is the turn and burn video
And that dog screaming was her brother running Agility in the next ring. 🤣🤣
So that was super hard for her.
I tore a muscle in my back so I can’t run Stark right now so Maddie was working with Stark. I technically probably shouldn’t be doing all the bending over with SQL but it is more of a controlled bending over while I am not so controlled running Stark.Carol
ParticipantI did a couple training sessions today so uploading lot of videos but the session were through out the day. She also lost some teeth during the session so she may have been a little off today. LOL
This was the video that should have been posted in my last post.

Barrel Wraps Handling Combos – https://youtu.be/vtwKpBuKkMA
Lap Turns and Tandem Turns – these were different session but I combined them in on video. In this session her nose got the best of her and she went into an open crate and was sniffing. I was able to get her back after a few seconds and she went back to working. I kept this part on camera.
I did use the pattern “Get It” game with her today and it seemed to help.
Carol
ParticipantThreadle foundation –
I was so surprised and happy with this first ever session. Not only did she pick it up like a champ, this was the first time I ever put the toy on the ground and asked her to do something and then sent her to the toy. Freaking brilliant!I warmed her up with just some nose targets first and then added in the the rest of the behavior.

I haven’t been able to get much distance away from the barrel yet.
Prop Game.
She is understanding to turn in the correct position much better now.Finding the prop on her line and added in a few rear crosses.
The rear crosses still need some work. 🙂 -
