It’s MELTING, MELTING, MELTING…oh, what a world! The snow will return, but we will take advantage of global warming for the moment.

We did, in fact, start with wraps.

I, too, will blame the RC. It’s upsetting my stomach as well!

My husband: At least ONE of them should be hard for you. *Me: smirks and flips him off*

    Lead change “out”

The snow is melting, so we may be able to get outside for some of these!

We are on top of the tummy problems (I hope). She has most of her energy back and is making it quite clear, as I watch her deconstruct my cardboard storage boxes, that she is ready to do things again. We will be trying to do most exercises without food, as the last set of videos (and too many salmon treats) got us into this digestive mess in the first place.

Muso has been quit ill since last week and the storm of the century has not helped. We’ll try to catch up next week.

I think she needed the sniffing break because I was getting frustrated. I thought I was supposed to put the cookie near the wall, in a corner, really close and hold her collar, but I couldn’t get past her fast enough to get to the new side; by the time she moved out of the way of my legs, she was already eating and turning.

I know when she is going to turn the wrong way, but I feel like I set it up the same each time and I just can’t get there before she starts turning; she turns her butt as she’s eating. Sometimes it works (usually at the start) and then it gets progressively worse. When I made her start the turn with the cookie more in the middle of the room, I could get to the new side faster because she was already turning, so she could see me. I will try a more parallel path. For some reason, this one is bringing up some rage. It’s really not that complicated.

That will work. I think. Also…I don’t have to do it outside, LOL. I will give it a go tonight!

I wasn’t going to post this, but we’re still struggling. I tried it again inside with a platform and a cone and a pre-paced toy, and I started with a lap turn, sending to the platform, so I was facing the toy, and she still struggled to turn towards the toy rather than spinning.
