Participanthave you noticed a preference for one game over the other
I think it has varied over time. But I guess he has liked the downhill more???
I used his raw this morning. It can’t flip out of the lid. I also put new velcro on everything so the lid won’t flip off again and we have another scary moment. I think he works well for the raw.
I was wondering if I should lower the teeter and then maybe slowly raise it??? Especiallly since driving all the way to the top and then having it drop has not really been working that well for him. .
Maybe I could do the bang games and down hills at this height as well???Carol
ParticipantI have stick in the ground poles which can be used as 2×2 or simulate channels. There are channels at LU.
Don’t I want to have the first 4 poles straight before I add the next set of 2 poles?? We haven’t gotten the first 4 straight yet but I don’t think it will take long.

Participant4 Poles
Getting close to being straightCarol
ParticipantTook a break for a few days from the teeter. I worked on getting his confidence up this morning on a non tipping teeter. His confidence got better and better.
This afternoon I’ll do a session with a little tip.
Carol
ParticipantHaven’t read your feedback yet.
Second session of 1&7. Added a tiny bit of movement in it. I got some head checks but he still drove forward.Carol
ParticipantFirst straight pole session. No movement from me. I thought it went pretty well.
I guess I need to do a session with dog on inside “threadle” session as well. I can tweak the poles so they aren’t straight for the threadle session.

ParticipantHere is one more session with the mat on the end of the dw. I caught myself talking too much. It was loud in the building though.

ParticipantStark 2×2 at 1 & 7
Carol
ParticipantWe did a session this morning and then a session outside this evening.
The morning session I worked closely with Stark and threw the cookies to try to prevent him from being sticky on the mat. Knowing I need to quickly fade out the throwing of the cookie.
Morning
The evening one I tried to use the toy to keep him pumped and less sticky. He was still sticky. Ugh

ParticipantI actually wasn’t saying weave. I was saying WEEE! as a sound (because WEEE! is fun) and then this morning realized that is too close to weave. LOL (fail) so now I have to come up with another sound. Ha!
When at LU I will try to find space with no equipment next time. The equipement is set up for hte week so I can’t move it. 🙂
Carol
ParticipantI wasn’t planning on doing a session at LU this morning but they had a little something already set up so I decided to seize the moment. Especially after yesterday.
Did he weight shift too early on the teeter or am I just seeing things? Overall I thought he seemed pretty confident on it.
Maybe the brainwashing is starting to take affect????
Carol
ParticipantSecond session, new location
I think he has picked this up quite nicely.Question about threadles to the weaves….. use a diffferent verbal?? Use a threadle arm??? just say your normal verbal Q for weaves and the dogs will figure it out??

ParticipantMinor set back with the uphills today. The rubber stopper hit the food tray thing which then caused the lid to flip up in the air when Stark got to the end. Naturally this freaked him out and he bailed off of the top.
I adjusted the teeter assist and attempted it again. Stark bailed on the way up. So I adjusted the teeter assist so there would be no tip and decided to try and send Stark from the opposite side, trying to change the picture for him. He had a successful teeter when I did this. I stopped with that successful one and we had a party.
